I think this is the most profound analysis of geopolitics available. Sure, the author has his biases, as all do - but he hits the nail on the head in regard to what the mainstream media is missing about the future of the US. Devastating....
This is a very good article, Eighthman. The fearful, the hateful, the ignorant are being stampeded towards the "Cliff" and the rest are, helpless to stop it. Those involved are running us into a direction, they have not a clue of "What" the consequences are going to be, until the pain sets in, that is........ :'( But, they are the loudest.

You seem to be missing the fact that the MSM is not missing it; they are deliberately
ignoring and obfuscating it.Just as the author of that article is guilty of drinking the
fool aid as are the millenials; the first and obvious step is to quit listening to all the bull sh!t, quit sitting around crying and wailing like the Democrats are, and actually do something.
Step two is to be
positive and quit being chicken little; the reason Donald Trump was elected president was thru positive force of will of the american people; the polls and their progandistic crap was dead wrong from the first primary
And in case most haven't figured it out, the Russians have been our buddies and Allies since before WWII...

I think we can always sit back and say, 'people need to be more rational and sensible' - but clearly, that isn't what's happening globally.
If the world went insane a little at a time, how would anyone notice? Even historians would be influenced so as to claim, 'well, things have always been crazy'.
And that's what bothers me. Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad - fits a lot of situations I've encountered in life. While 'snowflakes' make trivial complaints, the whole of western society seems headed towards bleak reality. We need a Deus Ex Machina real soon.
