I'm the oldest of three children, mother will be 94 in August and is in a very expensive nursing home.
When I lived with her for over two years 9 years ago when I left the ex, when I got my settlement I told her where I wanted to live.
"Oh no" she said you cant do that, its too far.
She told everyone and his dog and cat what I wanted to do.
Next thing I have my sister and sister-in-law saying No, can't do that, reasons given, I was female bullied.
Now ma is in a nursing home, I mentioned this to her and she said "oh you can go wherever you want and waved her hand at me" I thought at the time ..........murder.
Now years down the track and I had those two panic attacks, rang up my brother in law who is always good to me and cares. He told my sister, my sister told our sister in law.
Next thing my brother is on the phone saying me and Kath (sis in law) are dropping in to see you tomorrow. Okay I said....groan I thought, but little did I know.
He says to me I have made an appointment with a funeral director, just in case, (now remember he is a millionaire).
Okay I said, for peace sake. Two hours later I had to go to the bank and borrow $7,200 which was cheap for my funeral.
Then I find out that my health insurance pays out $26,000 if I die.
I will be glad when I move; only my youngest beloved son knows anything. He wants to build one of those Amish type barns at the back of my property cuz his relationship has broken up. Oh joy.

I have had as much as I can take from them, they know I'm on a disability pension. The gardeners are working out the back now, when everything is done I'm putting the place up for sale and I'm POing. love you. xxoo When I'm up there I will take pics and put them up for ya hon. xo

I hate the heat honey; me and Matt stayed up there for a while. There are mountains, a hot spot for my NVGs lol, and a lot of lakes. Love it. And for some reason I have been getting intuitive leads to go there for 10 years; nearly there.
sounds like you're set then...
do you have to build or is there someplace you could buy or rent?
not knowing the country i don't know which would be a good investment...
sometimes renting is good then you just call the landlord to fix stuff and since you will be away from folks you know that might be a better option..
whatever you pick.. be happy ...hugs D

Going up there to look at blocks with a view of the lakes or the mountains. The land is a lot, lot cheaper than down here.
And building with this. Matt is a builder so he wont let anyone pull the wool. lol. xxoo
