Insane Michigan government announces plan to destroy ranch livestock based on hair color and arrest hundreds of ranchers as felons

Quote(NaturalNews) The state of Michigan is only days away from engaging in what can only be called true "animal genocide" -- the mass murder of ranch animals based on the color of their hair. It's all part of a shocking new "Invasive Species Order" (ISO) put in place by Michigan's Department of Natural Resources (DNR). This Invasive Species Order suddenly and shockingly defines virtually all open-range pigs raised by small family farms to be illegal "invasive species," and possession of just one of these animals is now a felony crime in Michigan, punishable by up to four years in prison.

The state has said it will "destroy" these pigs beginning in April, potentially by raiding local farms with government-issued rifles, then shooting the pig herds while arresting the members of the family and charging them with the "crime" of raising pigs with the wrong hair color. This may truly be a state-sponsored serial animal killing spree.

This has gone viral on alternative news sites, yet nothing in mainstream.  What a surprise.

How long before other states and provinces follow suit?

Neighbours of mine had wild boars that were kept for slaughter.  The problem is they do not like captivity, and find ways to burrow under the perimeter fences.  Once they are in the wild they are a very distructive creature.  Digging up crops and running through grain fields.  They can be dangerous if cornered or protecting their young.

The government is using this as an opportunity to take over all small time swine producers by including all swine that is not "normal" as a threat. The small farmer has already gone broke trying to raise domesticated "normal" pigs because the corporate farms have forced them out of business.

Wild Boar hunting was a popular activity in Medieval Tymes  ::)

Let the HUNT begin  ;D

I don't see this getting approved... After all it was Michigan that backed down on jailing that lady growing veggies in her front yard.  Michigan farmers are also heavily armed... I just don't see them quietly letting Feds shoot their animals without resistance

Be interesting to watch for updates on this.  The fact that the story on that vegetable garden went viral on the web was actually what got the government morons who charged her to drop the charges.  So the people won one.

The internet if used right is a powerful tool. NaturalNews is a bit of a proactive site, but they reported the attacks against raw milk and food... and those stories later did hit mainstream media

They are one tough and rugged animial.  If you are hunting them you definately do not want your gun to jam if they are coming at you!  Those tusks can rip you up pretty good if they get a hold of you.

However......

The meat is awesome apparently!

Insane indeed. This is as crazy as the BLM rounding up wild horses in the west and either shooting them or just simply helicopter herding them into running till they drop. The freaken world has gone mad. Open range cattle and other live stock can roam free but the horse is targeted for de-pop.

De-pop the earth of all kinds of life seems to be the objective of a sinister government. I'd tell you more but no one seems to care, so I won't..............

Still is today in New Zealand, with many hunting pigs as a sport.

Nothing like wild Pork to eat.

and

We (NZ) are a farming Country but Still have Deer & Pigs in the wild for hunters.

P.S. even though NZ greatly relies on Farming, wild Pigs haven't threatened the Farming Industry much.

Sure sounds like, there is a hidden agenda in the U.S for the "Genocide" of certain Animals?

Actually I farm myself.  Wild turkeys that the ministry introduced to our area, do far more damage than anything.  If they wanted to truly help they would put a bounty on those damn things.

Sailing ships from Spain and the Old World brought pigs with them.... they would drop them off on various islands.... call it " Hog Island" and move on. When they visited the island later there was always enough fresh pork to keep the ships supplied with fresh meat.

There is a Hog Island near Philadelphia and strangely enough the beautiful little island that has now turned into The new ATLantis Resort in Nassau used to be called.... you guessed it.... Hog Island.

Useful little beastie for centuries....

But you never want to be forced into sharing a bush with one of those guys!.....I tried it once by mistake on Catalina and my horse and I ended up jumping off a cliff just to get away from the danged thing. One of our wilder Catalina Island adventures.

I think that they have finally taken all of the Boar off the Island but I could be wrong at that. Its been years since I have been there. When hunters went out after them we used to wager on who would win!

We have "Captain Cookers" (Wild Pork) in New Zealand left behind by guess who, Captain Cook.

Yeah you don't want to feel those tusks especially when the pig is alive, as they are likely to disembowel oneself if you get in the way.

See the Youtube Video I imbedded.

A typical weekend for some Kiwi's...

But I'm getting a little old for that Drama now...  :(

The Ol "Captain Cookers", great for the Barbe though  :D

I notice the dogs in your video ( I can't actually play it but I can see from the initial picture)

One of the best dogs we ever owned was a breed they called a " Tahitian Boar Hound" I am not sure what blood lines they used but she resembled a Rhodesian Ridgeback, without the ridge! She was dropped off on the Island by some folks who came in on a sailing boat from Tahiti and they didn't bother to check in with customs... add insult to injury they tied up to the Coast Guard can in the harbor. They were hauled off leaving the pup behind.... When she was an adult she could spook those wild pigs from the bushes and then run them down ... usually killing them with one snap on the run, We used to say that if we ever needed to survive we would just take Sheba. I wondered what bloodlines those dogs were.

Sorry to go off topic a little bit but I can see how a non domesticated pig could be a big problem....BUT....If they did "dispose" of the animals do the farmers get reimbursed? And what would happen with the meat? With so many people hungry in this country it would be a shame to waste it too....Sorry if the videos address all of that.... this poor little computer is run by a hampster. A very busy hampster. He doesn't do videos or UTube.    ::)  Linda

i dunno, this stuff bugs me.  i can't decide what's up with this.  i dunno if it's just greed or they are rounding up the capitalists.  communists seem to have a problem with capitalist farmers in particular.  if you recall, stalin starved something like 30,000 men women children and infants, to death in their own homes, because they were capitalist farmers.  first blow was taking all the crops and livestock. next was taking all their seed, so they couldn't grow anything either.  then they surrounded the farm lands with armed troops.  you had 2 choices:  get shot to death or die of starvation.

Monsanto has deep pockets, and deeper plans for us...way worse than any Michigan plan.

Im not against the culling of invasive species, except for when they are already in captivity.
Its ludicrous for anyone to think they will come to your farm and shoot your pigs, and right you are Zorgon, Michigan farmers are well armed and not afraid to put up a fight either.

If the pigs in question are a problem, why not just slaughter them all at once, and have a massive pig roast? Ill fly to Michigan for that!

Or just mark them, and dont breed those pigs, how easy.

Im making a pot of carolina sauce, so start shooting!

wellllllllllllllllllllll
this is a hunting area where i live and wild boar in this state is become a very big deal

please note:
the following is pure conjecture on my part

we all know that the big gov types like to hunt..old dickie boy just got a new ticker so he could keep on shootin
they don't like to do real hunting..just hunting on "ranches" or "preserves" where it costs big money
so maybe the boar places in michigan got together to elimated any wild boar as a product

the preserves where you can hunt charge big money and the big deal restaurants are getting into wild game as a menu item

just check out these places i found with a quick search for michigan

Feral Swine
Feral Swine in Michigan - A Growing Problem
Like other Midwestern states, Michigan is experiencing a growing problem with feral or wild swine. Thirty years ago, there were no feral swine sightings reported in Michigan. By the end of 2011, more than 340 feral swine had been spotted in 72 of Michigan's 83 counties, and 286 have been reported killed. A sow can have two litters a year of four to six piglets. Based on their prolific breeding practices, it is estimated that feral swine in Michigan currently could number between 1,000 and 3,000.

Feral swine are a problem for two main reasons - they can host many parasites and diseases that threaten humans, domestic livestock and wildlife; and they can cause extensive damage to forests, agricultural lands and Michigan's water resources. http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,1607,7-153-10370_12145_55230---,00.html

Hogs gone wild
By Paul W. Jackson

Wild hogs have been a problem in other states for some time, but Michigan officials say they're just learning the extent of the problem. In order to "nip" the problem "in the bud," hunters in 23 counties are urged to kill any wild hogs they see and have them sent off for disease testing.

Feral and Domestic Swine in Michigan

Looking for a license to kill? You got it.

If you're a licensed hunter in Michigan, you have permission - heck, you're even encouraged - to kill any hog you see rooting around in the wild of 23 counties. (see map).

Drop the varmints for the sake of the state's domestic swine industry, deer, stream banks and other habitat, crops and human safety. Go hog wild.

State officials aren't kidding about this. They want hunters to treat hogs gone wild - the official term is feral swine - as disease-carrying, aggressive and destructive vermin that need to be exterminated, and now.

Officials from the Michigan Department of Agriculture (MDA) and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) are so serious about this, in fact, that they put out a joint press release a week before the firearm deer hunting season that "encouraged hunters with a valid hunting license of any kind to shoot feral swine in 23 Michigan counties." Outside those counties, feral swine sightings should be reported to MDA or local law enforcement agencies. They should not be shot until local authorities can determine that the animals are not claimed as someone's property.  http://www.michiganfarmbureau.com/farmnews/transform.php?xml=20061130/cover.xml
