Strange 'Explosions' Heard in Several StatesLately there have been a lot of reports of strange sounds heard around the world, hums, booming sounds, eerie sounds from caves... like the Earth itself is groaning
Well last night I was sitting outside under the gazebo watching a thunderstorm go by. Now here in Las Vegas rain and thunderstorms are pretty rare, though this year the climate has been very odd. First year on record where it stayed above 100 degrees F all night for weeks :o
So this storm was also odd... lots of thunder and flashes moved by swiftly and barely a drop.. Then I heard other booms. They sounded similar to fireworks not that far away... got louder and more frequent.
I got onto the roof and didn't see any fireworks... checked the local casino events... no fireworks scheduled and they NEVER launch during a storm here...
So I looked on the internet...

Ok. A couple weeks ago on Sept. 10th I posted a similar thread after a similar experience I had. The thread was locked & moved by a mod/admin to the Hoax section. I don't get why. Someone on here even made an entirely new thread asking why it was moved. That thread was locked.
If you check my posting history, you will see that my activity on this forum is nothing to be suspicious about.
QuoteAnyway...
So just after 8pm a little while ago(Oct. 2nd), my wife and I sat down to watch a movie and we started hearing a constant rumbling. We thought nothing of it since the weather has been overcast the entire day and at first we just thought it was thunder. But after a while, it got considerably louder to the point where we heard it over the movie at times (Mission Impossible III at a pretty high volume). I paused the movie and looked out the window and it sounded like a constant explosions. Again, not the same as the sound you heard from fireworks. I know several people in the last post suggested it might be fireworks. I live in central NJ. We have experienced many fireworks here and know what they sound like.
So after about 2-3 minutes after I looked out the window, it suddenly stopped.
So at this point, I'm thinking, "that was very odd". The wife looks at me and says, "sounded just like the last time".
So whatever. The movie finished, I go downstairs to use the bathroom and come back up. My wife says to me that she went onto her facebook app on her phone and that one of her friends posted about it. So I turn the computer on and pull up google and do a quick search. I found that someone on the same forum that I posted it up. I took several screen shots of the facebook conversation and the google search result. I blacked out the URL and the names of the people, but if you read the facebook postings, you'll see that people heard the same thing a considerable distance from NJ.
Again, mods. Please do not take this down. I have no reason to lie about this. I was pretty upset at how my last thread was handled on here and my confidence in this site has lessened.

(fireworks, not explosions) being heard right now in Central NJQuoteThey stopped about 15 mins ago, but for about 45 mins straight, you can clearly hear explosions in the distance where I live. They were constant explosions with several seconds between them. The first one was strong enough, that I was watching the GOP debate on youtube with my over-the-ear headphones on and not only heard it over the audio, but I also felt it.
I took them off and went to my window to see if I saw any type of fireworks in the air, but being on the second floor I have a pretty good view of the entire skyline. I remember the last time I heard/felt explosions like those were in Portugal near my grandmother's house as a kid, being able to hear charges being set off at a marble/rock quarry several miles away on certain days.
I checked several News sites and found nothing. Googled it, nothing.
I'm about 13 miles west of NYC. Close enough to look out the window and see the light memorial at ground zero clearly. If I could hear these, I know this had to rattle some nerves over there also.
Anyone hear them in this area?
*EDIT*
So I did a quick google-search and found some threads just made of others wondering the same thing I am...

Loud Sustained Rumbles and Explosions, North Jersey 8:15 pmQuoteBegan hearing sustained thunder like rumblings 15 minutes ago at 8:15 pm EST. My Location is on border of Bergen and Passaic counties in NJ. The rumblings have fluctuated in loudness. They have been punctuated by occasional intense rumble like booms. Sometimes the rumbles last 30 seconds.
Not fireworks.
Also there are frequent bangs like artillery or metal on metal, some like the sound of a large garbage dumpster being dropped on the ground after being emptied, some like the crack of 50 cal ammo.
The noises are coming from the east, seemingly 5 -10 miles away though hard to tell.
Conditions, fine drizzle and cool. Light breeze 5-8mph from the SW.
Sounds like a battle in the sky and ground.
Any one else??

I am in Essex County and last night between 1:00 and 2:00am I noticed this very loud noise that resembled thunder, or a large airplane engine that would last in bursts of 1:00 - 2:00 minutes. While we do have an airport close by, my house is not situated in a position where we get loud planes. And the sound was not typical by any means.
QuoteAlso I have ruled out air planes, since the sound did not have a travel a path, it was always coming from the same direction and not moving.
Thankfully I was not the only one to hear this, as our town message board had a few people talk about it.

The one in KY is interesting due to the increased BF activity just across the border in western VA. The activity is seemingly moving west, and altho proving the two incidents are related is virtually impossible, it still strikes me as unusual.
There were also more rumblings in NJ altho an earthquake was ruled out. Am equally unsure a thunderstorm out at sea could cause buildings to shake?

Local residents felt a slight tremor at about 10 a.m. Saturday. Residents in Newark, Bergen County and Sussex County felt it, too - something that made houses shake and water ripple.
It wasn't an earthquake.
But what was it?
U.S. Geological Survey geophysicist Paul Caruso isn't sure.
"We received a number of reports that people felt something," Caruso said from the National Earthquake Information Center in Colorado. "We don't know what it was."
Local residents took to Facebook and Twitter to describe what they thought was an earthquake.
"I felt it in Margate, thought i was having a stroke!" wrote Patti Fiore.
"I think it was everyone's imagination!" wrote Juanita Rivera.
"Maybe it was God Bowling and he a gotta 7-10 Split?!" wrote Ocean City resident Kevin DeCosta.
Caruso has some theories as to what caused the shaking sensation, but at this point it's merely speculation.
"It could have possibly been a thunderstorm off the coast," Caruso said. "A sonic boom, that's another possibility."
Caruso said this sort of thing happens several times a year, usually off the coast of Florida.
New Jersey has become more earthquake-conscious since August, when a 5.8-magnitude earthquake shook the East Coast.
There would be no repeat Saturday - just some concern and speculation, as New Jersey residents struggled to figure out what made the ground shake.

Something's rattling small Wisconsin townQuoteBy the CNN Wire Staff

Mysterious explosions. Unexplained shaking. Something's going on in Clintonville, Wisconsin, but nobody seems to know what it is.
The sounds -- variously described as rattling pipes, clanging metal, thunder or firecrackers -- have continued on and off since early Sunday night in just one part of the small town of 4,600, located about 180 miles northeast of Madison.
Accompanying the sounds are vibrations that have shaken homes and household objects in the northeast corner of town, city manager Lisa Kuss said.
The sounds were loud enough Monday morning that a CNN journalist could hear them during a cell phone conversation with Kuss.
The baffling phenomenon does not appear to have caused any significant damage or injuries, according to Kuss.
QuoteWhile the Wisconsin sounds have yet to be explained, mysterious booming noises are not all that unusual. Recent media accounts include reports from North Carolina, Idaho, Tennessee and others.
U.S. Geological Survey scientist David Hill even published a paper in 2011 called, "What is That Mysterious Booming Sound?"
In it, he said such sounds are so commonplace in upstate New York, they earned the nickname "Seneca guns." They're also well enough known to be named by residents of Belgium, the countries around the Bay of Bengal, Italy and Japan, among other places, he wrote.
QuoteOne possible explanation is gas explosively escaping from underground rock formations. Another is a rock burst, which can happen when mining or quarrying uncovers long-buried rock, suddenly relieving stress and resulting in "locally loud, explosive reports."

What is That Mysterious Booming Sound?QuoteThe residents of coastal North Carolina are occasionally treated to sequences of booming sounds of unknown origin. The sounds are often energetic enough to rattle windows and doors. A recent sequence occurred in early January 2011 during clear weather with no evidence of local thunder storms. Queries by a local reporter (Colin Hackman of the NBC affiliate WETC in Wilmington, North Carolina, personal communication 2011) seemed to eliminate common anthropogenic sources such as sonic booms or quarry blasts. So the commonly asked question, "What's making these booming sounds?" remained (and remains) unanswered.
This phenomenon is hardly unique to North Carolina or to the modern Industrial Age. Residents in the vicinity of Lake Seneca in the Catskill Mountains of New York have long known similar booming sounds as "Seneca guns" (a term also common throughout the coastal region of the Carolinas). This name has been variously attributed to the section in Washington Irving's short story "Rip Van Winkle" (1819) that describes the ghosts of Henry Hudson's crew playing nine pins in the Catskill Mountains, or to the short story "The Lake Gun" by James Fenimore Cooper (1851). Elsewhere, such sounds are known by a variety of names including "mistpouffers" (fog belches) in coastal Belgium, "Bansal guns" in the Ganges delta and the Bay of Bengal, "brontidi" (thunder-like) in the Italian Apennines (Gold and Sorter 1979), and "yan" by the people of Harami in Shikoku, Japan.

SomamechMystery "Boom" Heard & Felt Across RegionBy: Crystal Bruce | WSAV TV 3
Published: March 15, 2012 QuoteWSAV is looking into reports of a "boom" felt across the region this morning.
We checked with the Chatham Emergency Managemet Agency and the US Geological Survey. Neither report any tremors in the area.
The National Weather Service says there was no weather related activity in the area.
As far as military bases, Hunter, Ft. Stewart and Beaufort Marine Corp Air Station all say it didn't have anything to do with them.
However, the Air National Guard says anytime military jets are training off the coast they can cause a sonic boom.
And GEMA confirms that they've talked to the military and they do have some reports of training exercises going on.
A couple of comments from Facebook residents in the area...
"Malinda Naquin (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=839854885) I'm in Richmond Hill and it sounded like it does when a hard storm is starting up, the roof kind of 'popped' and then the windows rattled. But, it was sunny so I figured it was a sonic boom. We hear Ft. Stewart all the time now, again, but usually that is lower in tone than this was."
"Teresa Gocial (http://www.facebook.com/chibaby1968) too many people from all around felt it, scared the crap outta me shook my house like something slammed into it..nothing like what I normally feel from Ft. Stewart"
"Dee Southworth (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100003222913925) Hear it and felt it on St. Simons. I thought one of our large live oaks fell near the house.
Mystery "Boom" Heard & Felt Across Region (http://www2.wsav.com/news/2012/mar/15/mystery-boom-heard-felt-across-region-ar-3418171/)
Quote"Earthquake "booms" have been reported for a long time, and they tend to occur more in the Northeastern US and along the East Coast. Of course, most "booms" that people hear or experience are actually some type of cultural noise, such as some type of explosion, a large vehicle going by, or sometimes a sonic boom, but there have been many reports of "booms" that cannot be explained by man-made sources. No one knows for sure, but scientists speculate that these "booms" are probably small shallow earthquakes that are too small to be recorded, but large enough to be felt by people nearby. - USGS Spokesperson

QuoteClintonville - There's one thing everyone here agrees: It was really noisy.
Exactly what it sounded like is where Clintonville residents differ.
Jordan Pfeiler thought it sounded like fireworks exploding underwater.
Fay Mavis' 27-year-old grandson thought it sounded like a 90-ton wrecking ball slamming into something, while Mavis said it sounded like huge chunks of ice falling from her roof. But then she realized in this heat, ice chunks are long gone.
Marge Bickford thought somebody drove a car into the front of her home.
Beverly Demitriou thought a critter had sneaked into her basement and was causing bedlam.
City Administrator Lisa Kuss said it sounded like a jackhammer.
Cats and dogs didn't know exactly what it was, of course, but they howled and meowed anyway.
A series of loud bangs and booms woke up folks on the northeast side of this Waupaca County community shortly before 2 a.m. Monday and continued off and on until at least 8 p.m. The rattling, shaking, vibrations and noises induced people to pick up their phones and dial 911 as Clintonville's police dispatch center lighted up with more than 150 calls.
The source of the racket? No one knows. Though they're pretty sure what it wasn't.

QuoteCLINTONVILLE, WI (WTAQ) - Authorities in Clintonville continue to investigate what caused residents to report sounds of explosions in the northeast part of the city.
City administrator Lisa Kuss says the first calls came in around 9:30 p.m. Sunday with people saying they felt their homes shaking. They felt like it was coming from underground. Some people describe it like a thunderstorm was approaching.
Then, Kuss says at 1:45 a.m. Monday, the shaking got worse and increased until around 5:30 a.m. Monday when things appeared to have settled down.

Weird Georgia: Previous Georgia BoomsQuoteRecent news accounts revealed a mysterious atmospheric boom in western Georgia two weekends ago. Georgia has an extensive history of such events.
On June 24, 1981, a house-shaking boom rattled coastal Georgia and both Carolinas. Scientists investigated and found no earthquakes, jets, or construction explosions. One theory is that great pieces of the continental shelf were breaking loose and falling into the depths of the Atlantic Ocean.
QuoteBetween eleven p.m. and one a.m. on January 7 and 8, 1987, residents along Macon's Vineville and Ingleside Avenues were shaken awake by a series of three blasts. The first was heard at 11:15 p.m., the other two occurred in rapid succession at 12:45 a.m.
Thomas Clay was preparing for bed when the two explosions "rattled the windows. It sounded like a quarter stick of dynamite. We've been hearing them off and on" since Christmas, eight altogether. "Usually, when you hear it once, you'll hear it again. Each time I jump. It's that loud."
A sensitive seismograph at Eatonton registered a ten-second incident at 12:45 a.m., said Dr. Tim Long, a Georgia Tech seismologist. However, it had an acoustic signal unlike earthquakes. "It's undoubtedly an atmospheric-type occurrence," Long said.
QuoteDuring 1991 and 1992 a series of mysterious blasts rocked extreme southeastern Georgia, centered around Waycross. The most powerful series originated on February 10, 1992, when they "shook my house" said Grace Kearson. She and neighbors believed the shocks originated from the Ware County landfill, a mile away. However, the blasts were heard and felt in neighboring towns and Brantley and Pierce counties.
QuoteBetween 10 a.m. and noon on November 20, 1995, loud explosions rocked parts of DeKalb and Gwinnett counties. After numerous reports were phoned into local authorities, DeKalb County sent a fire truck to Dunwoody and Gwinnett County dispatched emergency personnel to six different locations, but nothing out of the ordinary was found. The booms rattled houses and set off dozens of fire and burglar alarms across the area.
Weird Georgia: Previous Georgia Booms (http://www.brownsguides.com/blog/weird-georgia-previous-georgia-booms/)QuoteGeorgia Power ruled out exploding transformers; Atlanta Gas Light eliminated methane gas explosions in sewers; the National Weather Service reported no unusual atmospheric disturbances, NORAD discounted reentering space debris, and local mining companies had not been blasting.
Problems such as these in central Georgia always draws attention to Robins Air Force Base, where supersonic jet fighters occasionally break the sound barriers near populated areas.
"They damn sure don't do that at midnight," said spokesman Dale Brinkman, and only "over sparsely populated areas."
Powerful Boom in Southeastern GeorgiaQuote15, 2012, TV headline by News4Jax.com, Jacksonville, Florida.
The five southeastern Georgia counties where the very loud, window-rattling boom was heard on March 15, 2012, between 8:15 AM and 8:30 AM were Brantley, Camden, Charlton, Glynn and McIntosh Counties, marked with red circles in map below.
Officer Todd Rhodes from Georgia's Brunswick Police Dept. told Channel 4: "It was a noise that literally shook our home. There was some panic there because you know when you hear that noise as far-reaching as it was - and not only hearing it, but feeling it - you want to know, 'What is this?'"
QuoteThe FAA told Channel 4 the agency had no record of any aircraft going supersonic in the 5-county area on Thursday morning. The loud boom mystery has persisted in many states for a long time. See related Earthfiles Archive reports below.
The fact that the loud booms continue over time without any explanation is increasingly troubling to affected residents such as Brunswick police officer Todd Rhodes, who told Channel 4, "We haven't heard anything and that's sad. So many people here have felt the booms and we don't have a clue what it was."

Ya, well, I hooked a ride over to clintonville today and nothing to report. No sounds, no tv trucks or radio stations set up for reporting. The town was just like all the other times I drove through it.
I did notice people out on the street in deep conversation which could be about anything. Several were smiling as they waved their arms back and forth as if embelishing some story while smiling.
I stopped to check out a truck for sale in clintonville but while standing around, nothing happened other than me looking the car over. Come to think of it, there was construction going on right at the 45 22 split downtown clintonville.
Naw, that couldn't be whats doin it. Has to be underground.
Sorry, nothing to report there.
Hey, I just remembered something. When I lived in Milwaukee 25 years ago, I would go down to south Milwaukee & cudahy and there, was a drop forge at harnishfeger pounding all day into the evenin. They shut it down at night so the city could sleep without the ground shaking. Ya, the ground shook very noticeably and you could hear the forge pound the Steele. You could feel and hear this for many blocks in all directions.
Only clintonville has no drop forge to shake the ground there.
Interesting thread;
We have heard about this on TV news last night, down under in NZ, across the ditch from Australia.
Is there any "Tunneling" underground going on in the area?
Perhaps Secret?
I mentioned it a few months ago, that at Tampa airport on some nights, the jets turning up can sound like explosions. Just a thought, but those big commercials sound like thunder carried over the bay!
LE
Today they say they got a 1.5 on the earthquake seismograph from tuesday. They were going to position motion detectors for any more tremors.
There is a small airport in clintonville but no big jets land there. I know big jet sound cause I live a couple miles west of a big one. The big jets come in and sometimes they reverse thrust by flipping open the engine reverse clam shells and throttle up causing the engine exhaust to slow the jet down and that creates a louder rumble in the ground than the taking off noise.
We had a legiant jet from vegas drive of the runway last year and the pilot throttled up trying to get his wheels out of the mud on the edge of the taxi way. I knew that noise was something wrong when I heard that and drove over to the airport and there it was. Port side wing dipped into the grass and the wheels bogged down.
I suspect with all the really hot weather we were having the ground in clintonville must have had underground springs washing out the lower ground and tonnes of rock were falling and shaking the ground.
Now I have seen a map where that area is within the madrid fault line. News now reports the same activity as in clintonville, is now happening down in montello just south west of clintonville. In October 2010 up in michigan there was a similar boo going on and a crack opened up. The ground had risen 5 feet above the surrounding ground as it broke open. Trees were slanted opposite each other on either side of the crack.
People reported the booms and ground shaking before the ground cracking event next day was discovered. This area is also in the area where ELF is produced. Even though the navy claims ELF is off line, ya have to wonder since clintonville is inline with the madrid fault line right up to where the michigan ground shook and the crack appeared.
ELF operates in clam lake wisconsin which is north of clintonville and the othe ELF station is 150 miles due east of the clam lake in michigan near sawyer naval base.

I have to think, gigas, if the booms are originating from underground, how far are "falling rocks" falling when they are underground?
Especially if they are heard as sonic booms, and not a grinding crunching sound muffled by the ground.
If a boom is to be heard from that depth, the rocks have to fall at least a hundred feet or so, right?
Maybe there is more to the Hollow earth theory than weve been told.... http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/tierra_hueca/esp_tierra_hueca_29.htm
Id wonder, too, if weather systems in the Earth's center would cause "underground thunder"?
I think if ELF is at play here, it's the natural kind, and is an indicator of tectonics taking place.
Also, look up Cymatics, as it's the effect on matter caused by sound, and youll see that the right frequencies will cause mountains to rise up like waves from the sea.
I have thought of the effects of Cymatics as the way the world's mountain ranges were formed, and it's probably happening again.
If we can use an elf sensor(anyone else have one?) we can pinpoint the frequencies, and look from that starting point as to what the booms are, and why we are hearing them now.
I personally, after years of Cymatics study, feel it is the way the earth's shape was formed, and most likely it's the way it will be destroyed, too.
No fireballs, or radiation waves, just the right vibrations, and wham, we disassociate into sand and organic particles. I think Tesla had done something like it, when he strapped that resonator to the column in his workshop, just imagine that to the 25th power, and that's the sweet spot to turn us all back into atoms.
Anyway, after that, have a nice day!;)

Have these Noises now Stopped ?
I heard the rocket tests today in Tarpon Springs, and several folks asked what is that?
I told them and they said nonsense, you cant hear that from here(40 miles away) and I asked, what was it then, and got a dumb look for my answer.
Oh well, if people dont want the answer they shouldnt ask, right? LOL!
Personally, it sounds like people are hearing things different these days, and it's due to time compression, in my opinion.
Interdimensional ripples are occuring in between dimensions and showing themselves for a split second or more, and it's the time rippling when the dimension is crossed they are hearing. Basically it's a sonic boom between two dimensions, but some will say Im crazy. Pretty soon the lights will change and we will pull forward into the new Earth future. Dont miss the bus, or youll be sorry!
If you have noticed, since last year sounds have become more muffled, and distant sounding, and several times in the last few months, Ive experienced total silent spots in an otherwise noisy day.
My hearing is pretty good, and I know most natural sounds when I hear them, so I know Im not hearing(or not hearing)things.
To me, it seems the world is accelerating towards an event horizon, and that EH is very close, so close, it is interfering with the transmission of sound waves through our atmosphere. In another few years, we will start to see things that havent been seen for millenia, and we wont be ready for it, if we dont pay attention to whats happening now. Once we start to see things, we wont care about hearing them anymore.
Floating orbs of energy, spinning spirals of atmospheric energy vortex signatures, and the enlightenment of certain people to the truth. We will see it all and more when the time is right, and the compression accelerates us to the point of molecular disassociation, when we all get to start over with the whole civilization experiment we are part of. A new beginning for humanity and one of many we have been through in the past.
Back to the DNA strand we were made of........Back to...
???
Sounds crazy? I dont think so!

It's not a far off possibility, gigas, and keep an eye out for those groundhogs, theyll be the first to warn of the impending doom!:D

Oh No.
Not Ground-hog day again...
Wasn't it yesterday and the day before, like the previous day as well?

Definitely the best movie for a Quantum Physics student. LOL!
I loved groundhog day, and Bill Murray, too!
Cheers!
