Hi Folks,
I guess like a lot of you guys/gals on here you are mostly sceptical about the UFO phenomenon and other topics and subjects dealing with experiences that lay outside of mainstream science.
I know most of you will have seen the video below? I have watched this many times and I am almost 90% certain that it is a classic UFO but part of me thinks that it maybe a drone of earthly origin being tested ?

I became interested in the subject back in the mid 70's when I read a book (cant recall the title) about the Hill abduction case and as a just teenager it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up - and have been fascinated ever since.
This subject has opened up many interesting paths and has me questioning our supposed reality, with it posing many many questions, and making me doubt a lot of the subjects we are taught in school and what mainstream science would have us believe.
One example of a global focused misdirection scheme that I firmly believe is being portrayed is the mythical Russian armed forces super-power myth, I did some very basic fact checking of Russian military might versus the numbers for the USA, China, India and NATO as a whole and the numbers were staggering!

I recall a C-2-C interview with John and Art B from waay back where John recited a script (best way I can describe it) about the UFO and disclosure scenario and asked Art if he had the opportunity would he agree to be the one to disclose IF he had the chance to with no come back on him ( I cant find the episode as the guy Conflict who keeps posting archival C-2-C episodes on You Tube has them taken down very quickly by the YT folks) -
I do recall that the script itself did hit a few nerves when I listened, and kicked off a number of questions that I had about the whole subject of UFO's and other esoteric topics (if someone has the episode link or script even?..)
What am finding with these subjects (and the DITRH metaphor really does work for me on this) is how much weird and high strangeness there is that is not covered by conventional teaching and how much noise there is in the many fields of weirdness there is that masks and obfuscates the subjects in question.
The subjects that really get my attention are 9/11, DUMBS, Abductions, Missing 411, Secret Space Program, The Moon, Flat Earth (I know.. I know) MiB, Bob Lazar/S4, the S4 SEAL Guard case. The STS "Astronots" - The Faked Moon Landings - HAARP. The Moon wave/hologram.
Although there are other topics like lost civilisations the Pyramids etc but I don't have enough time.. even when sleeping less than 6 hours a night most nights as I wake up and start looking into cases and stories.
Can anyone recommend further reading by the following authors please ?... Jaques Valee, Jim Marrs, T Van Flanderen, Norm Bergerun, George Knapp, and if possible authors and books that have caught your imagination about the above subjects ?
Trying to sort the wheat from the chaff also take a lot of time and I want to cut through the BS out there so hence my pinging this thread out to you folks.
(I have major doubts about a number of the latest SSP authors so these guys don't really interest me -)

I have a question for you; many of us here on Pegasus are experiencers, meaning we have had personal sightings or other events that have tipped us past the skeptical perch... that is what drives us to seek answers and empowers our search...
so tell us, if you so choose, what have you had up close and personal experience with...

Very glad to answer your question - I hope you have a hour or so to spare, I just read back through the details below and although I have tried to keep things brief and to the point but the events do require some detailed description.
I have experienced 3 events during my time serving in the Royal Air Force, all in the 1980's, 2 where the UFO phenomenon and 1 was a ghost apparition.
Event-1 - Daytime - midday, summer and clear skies, with visibility of at least 30 miles -
I was on a Electronic Warfare deployment in the North of England for a week at a place called Otterburn -

We were deployed on the Radar described below - It simulates a certain Threat System, and it and other RADAR equipment and EW systems were deployed from RAF Spadeadam in Cumbria which was a joint RAF/USAFE EW & Bombing Range.

The camera mentioned in the article on the top of the radar head is a very powerful electro-optical system and the threat operator will normally use it to help in the target acquisition esp if the A/C has gone "dark" to the radar, normally with terrain masking or high G manoeuvers to break the radar lock -
its important to understand that in clear daylight conditions picking up a target in excess of lets say 30Km just using the EO is very doable - and tracking the A/C passively until the A/C reaches the threats optimum range is a SOP that we employed, before illuminating it with the target acquisition threat and once locked up completing the sequence of events that would let the Pilot know he is basically toast (the smokey sams are used as a visual clue for the pilots and depending on the co-ordination skills of the Threat Operator and the Smokey Sam / AAA operator it could be very effective for the Pilots)
So we have been on deployment for 4 days of the weeks long exercise and there is a normal break in the flying program around lunch time - (exercise Mallet Blow)
Pilots gotta eat you know, and we took this opportunity to also eat, complete any admin and refuel the mobile generators - during this time it was SOP that the Radar TX was disabled and it could not be used whilist the refuel was going ahead for obvious RAD-HAZ reasons.
But you could still move the Radar head around without TX, using the EO - I was getting some passive practice in by trying to pick up A/C coming out of Newcastle Airport and also just generally checking the skys, When about 15 mins into this I picked up a flash of light that I thought might possibly be a A/C loitering in CAP mode -
As the A/C moved through my field of view I tried to resolve the target, but in this case I couldn't , no matter how I played with the focus it wouldn't resolve, I was with another operator and he went outside to check the A/C and said that it looked like burnished copper we both estimated that object was over 30Km away but the angle of elevation of the Radar head did not allow me to get a fix of data point on the ground (approx. 7degree Elevation) and the Azimuth tracking velocity was approx 2degree/sec - so it appeared to us to be drifting, we normally recorded our tracking on a Industrial size US standard VHS tape systems for review later at the range and sometimes with aircrew who we had worked against, so I started to record the event , and approx 45's after we hit record the object just winked out of the camera, Brian my buddy shouted "its just gone!" -
We got all the crew together and played back the tape, now I would say that in the control cabin there was around 40 years worth of operator experience and not one of us could tell what the A/C/Object was -
We were all certain that we knew that it wasn't a Helicopter, Aircraft, Blimp, Ballon, Hang-glider, or other aerial vehicle that we were all familiar with -
Event-2 November - 8:30pm approx - clear winter sky, no clouds and no moon. Same year as Event-1
At the Spadeadam EW range and working on one of the fixed threat systems I was taking a slow walk from the crew room to the control cabin of the equipment as we on routine maintenance, and it really is very beautiful up there, the nearest village is 3 miles away, nearest town is 22 miles and there is very little light pollution so you can see a lot of stars on a clear night, esp in winter.
I was walking and stargazing as you do, I am no astronomer but I do know a few of the obvious constellations and planets and major stars, when a formation of "stars" caught my attention: its a bit difficult to describe but imagine the brightness of the stars that form Orion - then imagine that you have a series of stars that have a bright blueish star at the top then immediately down below this star approx a hands width below another reddish star and then two stars either side but in the middle of this configuration, its not a good description but I think you get the picture, the night is cold and crystal clear and I don't recognise the formation at all and I have had a lot of cold winters up there to recognise the sky and the stars and their formations -
I keep looking at this and it looks like the top star is flashing like a anti-collision light - but then it stops and becomes very bright, as it does this the other "stars" look like they are also flashing in the manner of anti-collision light -
I am used to atmospheric phenomenon causing target scintillation when using optical-systems and it wasn't this, it was IMHO "lights" being manipulated.
I didn't feel any fear just bewilderment, so I went into the control van, called up Range Control and asked the ATC Flt Sgt if he had any A/C transiting the western edge of the range - no came the reply?.. and why do you ask ?.. I explained what I thought I had seen and told him that I was going to point the radar at the object and he could see a real-time view of the A/C once I got the system on the bearing as he could "see" what our optics captured.
I turned the radar on hoping to illuminate it and determine its range, angle and speed - the camera showed the object(s) but no returns at all - also no Az angle movement with the stars bang in the middle of the picture - myself and the ATC Flt Sgt ( a really solid guy with 20 years of experience) says he is going to go outside and see if he can see it as well - he goes out, (and his viewpoint is about 3 miles as the crow flys from our site , on a slightly higher elevation) he is gone 5 mins and comes back on the line, yes I do see what you are seeing but we have nothing on primary or secondary radar here - the lights are just hanging there and by this time a couple of the other guys have come into the Van to see what is going on.. then the lights just fade out - we rush out side but they have gone - there was no sound at all, there was almost no wind so even the trees were silent. we reviewed that tape A LOT, but nobody had any answers.
Needless to say nobody talked about it or wanted to report it to a higher level of authority, so it and the summer sighting were stashed away in the tape archives and I expect were taped over not long after both events.
Event-3 - December, a howling gale! but this was a sighting indoors-
I used to play a lot of basketball in the RAF and the accommodation at Spadeadam is for single guys, no WRAF when I was there, and as the nearest village was a 3 mile hike most of the guys either became bar flys in the combined mess or played a lot of sport (me) -
It was a howling wet Sunday evening and I decided that some shooting practice would be a great idea, so went over to the guardroom , signed out the keys to the hanger where the basketball court was and headed over, unlocked the access door and went to turn on the lights, now the hanger is called F1 and is massive, it was where the Blue Streak missile was assembled before static testing of its systems and rocket engines so you can imagine how huge the hanger is - the lighting system was old school sodium electric lights and they take about 2 mins from switching to 100% ON, it is a very slow process when you are alone in a hanger waiting for the lights to warm-up.
I am on the basketball court and out of the corner of my eye I detect a faint movement - this raises the hairs on my neck and arms - I look immediately to the movement and I cant believe what I see, it is a World War 2 pilot standing looking at me, he has his flying helmet and goggles on his head, a dark brown sheepskin flying jacket on a what look like very dark overall trousers on and black sheepskin topped boots - I am not scared but I cant believe what I am seeing, then as the lights start to brighten, the pilot starts to fade away from the feet up his outline starts to shimmer like a mirage ! -
The lights come on full and I on jelly legs run to where he was.. I check the other side of the open court that houses at the MT vehicles .. nothing and nobody - I then check the showers and toilets. nothing of course - I think this has to be a prank.. so I ring for the duty driver, but he is out on a run.
I locked up, ran back to the Gatehouse and signed the keys in - one of the duty Policemen Andy asks if I am ok?.. I ask why?.. well you haven't been very long and you are as white as a ghost - I know Andy really well and I say if someone is playing a prank they have done a good job! - He asks what happened, and over a brew I explain exactly what happened, I ask him to take a statement from me - why?.. because when I mention it to him again he can tell if I have changed my story -
Later that night in the bar I am talking to another of the RAF Policemen and relate what happened - John says that he has in the past when doing mobile patrols on the evening and night thought he had seen someone walking around F1 but when John had tried to catch-up with them, there was nobody to be seen, he explained that he wasn't the only one either.
Spadeadams history is quite rich with stories of Aircraft in the WW-2 not making it back after being shot up badly to RAF Carlisle and crash landing in the Spadeadam waste, it covers approx 10,000hectares and is mostly scrub, marsh, and fell-land, the marshland will offer up a bit of airplane or bits of one very occassionaly during very dry summers.
These 3 events have solidified my believe that there is a lot more to this reality then the white bread version we are feed at school and beyond - I guess I am like most folks on here and have a very healthy sceptical approach to what I read and watch when talking about the "phenomenon" and the esoteric -
These are my 3 experiences, and they really did happen, I have tried to recall as much detail as I can remember - I hope you find them interesting.

Oh, okay. It's just that that poser, Greer, uses that term and I associate "experiencer" with people who aren't really contactees. Zorgon agreed with me on that.
Maybe we might come to a consensus on a better word for legitimate "experiencers". In fact, I think it's an imperative here at Pegasus as we have higher standards than other sites.
