As it became dark all the birds stopped singing. It was eerily quiet.
Also the temperature dropped about 10 degrees.

We are anticipating YOUR video :P
Here in Vegas it NEVER rains :P we were up early to wait for it and then the clouds moved in WTF? Really? Thunder and lightning and RAIN... cleared up at noon, when it was all over
What are the odds? ARGGGGGGGGG It would have only been about 60% here but still
We had 92% here. It got cooler and breezy. Crickets started chirping. Neighborhood dogs started barking at the height of things. The eclipse did not affect the deliciousness of our donuts.
Shasta
In Portugal was only a partial eclipse, and too close to sunset to be able to get anything interesting, I could only get this. :(

Denice Marcel took this one
I never knew how dark it got during the totality of the eclipse. A friend of mine witnessed it and said its a "must see" event and encouraged me to try to find a good spot for the 2024 eclipse.
I was surprised by this time lapse drone footage.
