The Catholic Church celebrated the Feast if the Ascenscion, when the resurrects body if Jesus was taken, intact, into heaven. The Catholic Church also celebrated the Feast if the Assumption, when Mary was taken, while still very much alive, into heaven. Do, were they pulled up into heaven? Or was a mothership wwaiting to beam them aboard up in completion of their mission?
Or it never actually happened.
Or Jesus wasn't actually dead so there was no resurrection.
Or - most likely - it was a pre-existing pagan myth(s) over which the names of Jesus and Mary were pasted to legitimise the Christian Faith in the eyes of the sheeple...
I think the third option is the most likely. Myself not being if the Christian persuasion, I can't really get on board with what the Catholic Church says. I find the ET theory entertaining though.
You guys forgot one.......
Or...Or....Jesus WAS the Son of God and Mary WAS the Mother of Jesus the Risen Lord.....
And they both rose, body and soul into Heaven....hhmmmmmm... ;D
note: sorry guys corrected the We're to Were....lolol
Well Shasta, additionally there is Mary'S immaculate conception as many abductees report, and also the oddly moving star of Bethlehem.
All circumstantial evidence of course but enough worth speculation.
well what is the standard tag
pictures or it didn't happen...lol (sorry weird sense of humor)
my take is that the catholic church has lied about almost everything in their attempt at dominance and so i don't believe ..sorry
and i was raised catholic...since then all the things that they tried to pound into my head have been changed..hummmmmmmmm
i had a yoga teacher way back who converted to catholic because she thought they had the very best rituals services and she like the candles and incense..
and if you want to play with who were they..and who were the other supposed et's back then (ancient aliens stuff)..
how about folks from the future popping in instead of folks from somewhere else
it's all supposition imo
i mean think about it.. look at how ron hubbards bs became a religion
I hadn't gotten to the Immaculate Conception part, although that concept actualky refers to Mary being conceived without sin. So Hannah was an abductee?
