Sarge, you forgot When worlds collide, and the attack of the killer tomatoes 8)
As I said, I'll keep looking for more. I try to concentrate on the ones most haven't seen before.
I've seen It Conquered the World and Plan 9 From Outer Space. One of our local stations used to air a lot of older sci-fi and horror movies. Fiend Without a Face and The Screaming Skull both really creeped me out.
Yes some are more famous than others. I really liked Beyond the Time Barrier. My all time favorite is of course Forbidden Planet.
But I try to find the unusual like Road to the Stars which is early Russian space fair.
This is going to be good, I love old movies. :)
I have "It Conquered the World" and "War of the Satellites" as part of my Roger Corman collection. I also have "Plan 9 from Outer Space".
Forbidden Planet is my all time favorite. Except for the time i watched it late at night and then had a nightmare about it. The monster was coming, and I was trying to pack up the entire house, my daughter, and my dogs, and get out before it found us. I was quite relieved when I woke up.
I'm sticking with the biggies ~ "The Thing (From Another World)" and "The Day the Earth Stood Still".
One curious thing of note in the latter film. After Klaatu donned the suit from the cleaners, he removed the cleaner's tag, looked at it, and threw it on the sidewalk.
That's a 1950's move, not the action of the type of character portrayed. The real "Klaatu" would have put the tag in his pocket for later, proper disposal.
Wish I had a "Gort". ::)
I would like to have a Gort. I can think of multiple opportunities for use during rush hour. I've also wished various weapons on my vehicle during rush hour. Probably just as well that I never got my wish.
Y'all can have Gort 8) I want the ship and the auto doc that repaired Klaautu
:P :P :P
Added 4 more...
Phantom from Space 1953
Battle of the Worlds 1961
Things to Come 1936
Metropolis 1927
8)
added 4 more:
Warning from Space 1954
The Day the Sky Exploded 1958
Destination MOON 1950
Mission MARS 1968
8)

Well, being a prey animal, I want the big metal guy in my corner. With him along I'm pretty sure the auto-doc and ship are included in the interstellar package.
;D
An alien gets on a spaceship.
It slowly kills crew members.
Makes its way through the ship.
It is finally killed when the air lock is opened.
What Movie?
And what year?
It sounds like Alien. Not sure of the year, although I remember my daughter being pretty young when it came out. She just turned 40.

I have not really watched that many old Sci Fi Movies, but coincidently I just happened to watch this recently..
some parts in ref to the Saucers , force field protection around the saucer when it landed from the Military attack...and the Alien/s took my interest..
Earth vs the Flying Saucers
Aliens in flying saucers set out to conquer Earth in this low-budget, high-calibre, documentary-style B-movie with spectacular special effects by Ray Harryhausen.

Nvm.
Well it may go here but not on my list on my website. :P
Thought it might interest fans of the genre. No disrespect intended. :)

It may become one in the future (although I doubt it), but it's not a classic either. :)

None taken. If you want to post your favorites, be my guest. ;D
Updated the links to the movies on the website.
Haven't added any new ones though. Give me a list and I'll try to find more. They have to be the full movie please, not trailers.
