TRUTH or The American Way
Yes I KNOW the original phrase was "Truth, Justice and the American Way"
Yes, it's Superman - strange visitor from another planet who came to Earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men. Superman - defender of law and order. champion of equal rights, valiant, courageous fighter against the forces of hate and prejudice, who disguised as Clark Kent, mild-mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper, fights a never-ending battle for truth, justice and the American way."
But in today's world "Justice" is a fleeting concept at best and still blind as a bat... and "TRUTH" is very rarely sought after, as people would rather believe the cool STORY instead.
Yes sometimes we here at Pegasus will pursue a good story even when we know that perhaps at best it has only a smidgen of truth... but Pegasus was founded originally to find the answers and share the information, vetted as best as possible while still keeping up with the good stories for interest.
But it seems that the AMERICAN WAY is no longer about Truth... but more about the best STORY that people want to believe... and this is not only in the conspiracy world, it is even worse in the mineral specimen/ gem stone world as I have recently noticed in the trends across the internet. (a point I will be addressing shortly)
So take a moment to THINK and let me know which path YOU prefer. Not as an anonymous poll... just post in this thread your answer..

well most of my life i have been in the first category

i have found the truth is more relative than i ever conceived
for some their truth changes their story as THEY age
it's really weird to see that and not condemn them for it
and as that changes in folks life i think they are more inclined
to put the blinders on , go for the nice story, and stop
thinking or asking questions, the truth is now entertainment
i know where i would have pushed for harder info with direct non stop questioning.. now with age, i just let folks believe what they say and walk away
but
when it comes to digging for info.. it's back to nothing but the truth and digging deeper for the back story or reason why that is the 'current' truth

If I was a US citizen and not a UK subject of her Maj, I would still go for the Truth, every single time.
I suspect that there are secrets out there which we will never get to see unmasked (in my lifetime at least) but while there are Corporations & Cabals happy to supress their fellow man for their own selfish and greedy ends, it only seems right that a small and determined legion of truth seekers attempt to do the best they can to shine the bright light of truth on to their black arcane secrets and seperate the fake from the real.

Yes "truth" is relative to the believer. Take religion for example. Every religion says their god is the one and only true god and even within the same religion there are versions of that one true god... and many will kill you over their version should you challenge it.
In this case since we can neither prove or disprove the existence of any one or all those gods, there can be no absolute TRUTH... That answer we will only get when we cross over. If there is nothing after, and we are naught but food for wyrms, then its a moot point... but if there is more, we will wake up and say "holy crap... was I ever wrong... might need a do over" :P

My foray into the conspiracy world really began with the secret space program. That is how I met John... that is how I ended up at ATS... and that is why Pegasus was born.
But just recently the latest MUFON fiasco in Las Vegas on the secret space program has turned it into a money making circus side show. Gary mcKinnon featured as an 'expert speaker'? REALLY? And all the obviously fake stuff from Cory Goode et al... is a joke. But the believers are lapping it up, and sadly paying BIG BUCKS for it ($350.00 a ticket was sold out three days)
Richard Dolan, grandfather of secret space stuff, even came out publicly and declared it all bullshit. But the circus goes on.

Walk away (for a time) is what I did. We reached out to the 4 million plus viewers Pegasus has to chip in just a couple of dollars... and we had some really good friends and supporters that help out (2 in a very big way and I will thank them personally) For that I am very grateful as it helped me out BIG TIME... but the 4 million viewers remained silent....
I came back with a new presentation... at least I thought it was news. John Lear read it and his reaction was, to say the least, unexpected... (I will post that reply shortly)

yes there are lots of secrets out there we can never get the truth from... that is obvious... but do we buy up just any old story because someone says so?
There are so many fake guys out there that make claims of Military Service and then say they will 'blow the whistle' on these secret programs... yet when you try to find their service record, its non existent. But how many people REALLY dig for it?
Remember the old movie line... "name Rank and Serial number" well that much information is publicly available on EVERY ONE who ever served, no matter the clearance they later achieved. and a DD214 record is easy to get by ANYONE by filing a simple FOIA form (and something any one that serves would have) Look at John's wall in his den... his entire history is there easy to see, smae with Sir Patrick Moore in his den... someone with a TRUE past would have no problem producing documents, photographs, etc in a flash. Even my wall has my history and the rest is in photo albums (old school photos LOL)
It is not really that hard to sift bullshit from truth... and today with the internet it is easy to verify most data. If something is bogus, it quickly leads to a dead end... but if TRUE, it will leave trails to many doors. The doors most likely will be locked BUT the doors exist, thereby validating the data.
And many time you can get a peek inside if you ask the right question at the right place.
One example... for years I posted about the Project Stargate remote viewing program by the CIA and how it was rousted by Congress. I wrote that it was moved into the private sector by a certain high position military officer... well I met that officer at John's house :P... I actually asked him if it was true that he was the one that did the transfer and setup... he replied with a laugh "Well... let's just say I was the senior adult in the room"
Well TODAY that information is publicly posted on the PsiTech website :P (not the name of tat officer though :P so what was once a Conspiracy Theory is now the ABSOLUTE TRUTH

Just very quickly as well Z, when we do see people like Edgar F and others who make their claims about being in some super black project I would ask two questions of them, how many TO's where associated with the project and what if anything was deemed the 1A1 element of the equipment / system / hardware if it was a US program and if it was a UK program how many AP's where associated with the program and what was the systems nomenclature - we know that there are people out there who claim to have military backgrounds and either steal real Servicemen/women's service numbers but the above is one way of tripping them up -
I am sure Sgt Rock and Space Mav recognise the TO and 1A1 ref's, the AP's are the same as the TO ref's - none of the "whistle blowers" ever mentions simple things like maintenance cycles, or points of failure during tests or anything that would convince me that they really did work on hardware / equipment, with the best memory in the world, even if you are to back engineer technology, someone would be building documentation about the systems capabilities -
General Dynamics, Metric Systems, Honeywell reverse engineered all of the captured Soviet SAM / AAA and EW threats from the 6 Day War and produced identical (in every mechanical / electrical, electronic, signal processing, signal signature) - and the hardcopy documentation for these systems are huge, they take up racks of bench space !

UFO "TRUTH"
There are THREE categories in this
1) Government Truth
2) Ufologists Truth
3) The Actual Truth
We can ignore 3) The Actual Truth because without having access to a nuts and bolts flying saucer, intact, crashed or VERIFIABLE piece of Alien spacecraft... or having access to a VERIFIABLE Alien... live to interview, corpse to examine or VERIFIABLE Alien DNA sample... we can make no evaluation
However TRUTH has to be independently VERIFIABLE otherwise it is just another story
Okay so much for REAL TRUTH :P
So let's look at the other two
1) Government Truth
The People say: "The Government is lying and covering up Aliens
The Government says: "We have no dealings with any extra terrestrials"
The White House put out a petition a few years ago... asking people what they wanted to know about or have taken care of. That is still posted on Pegasus under "Petitions and Causes" The response was over marijauna being made legal (#1 requests) and "UFO truth" (2nd). In response to that the White House issues a long official statement that "We are not now, nor ever have, dealing with extra terrestrials"
Well sort of expected and the People said: "Bullshit, your lying and covering up!"
The Government, Britsh MoD says: "We have been monitoring UFO's but it's too expensive and we found no threat" So they CLOSED the UFO desk (Nick Pope is out of a job)
The Government, US Air Force CLOSED prohect Blue Book and did not find any flying saucers
The Government, Pentagon says " We have had a 'secret' UFO watch program, but we are CLOSING it because it is too expensive and we found no threat!"
And to that end they give Ex Sen. Harry Reid the job of "Official UFO guy" and we see this whole new media circus unfold with Bigelow/Knapp/Lazar/Puthoff/Springer(ATS)/Robbie Williams/Tom Delonge et all unfold and drag up the same old same old and again we have NOTHING. $20 million plus dollars channeled to Bigelow Aerospace Sweet....
People say: "The government needs to release all the files! Stop hiding the truth!"
The Government: NSA, CIA, FBI, British MoD, Canada, Uraguay...etc etc.. have had their UFO files online since at least 2000, that is almost 2 decades. There are literally THOUSANDS of files available online. In fact we at Pegasus have repeatedly posted the links and have stored the files in my archive...
I challenge ANYONE to find me ONE nuts and bolts verifiable Alien Spacecraft in any of those files :P
UFO means UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT It does NOT mean FLYING SAUCER :P

Hillary says, jokingly on CNN, that she will get to the bottom of the UFO thing if elected. John Podesta was the driving force.. Well John Podesta was a high level White House insider... and HE didn't know anything from the inside. He made it his mission to find out. Well if HE didn't have the answers who does? Grant Cameron on FB pushed really hard to get Hillary elected because he was sure she would reveal the truth because Podesta told him so. Most people on Grants page laughed and told him "not gonna happen!" Then Podesta is dragged into the pedophile thing and POOF no UFO truth... Grant blocked me when I said "I told you so" :P
There is a lot more but Grant has a very good website called Presidemntial UFO's that covers a lot of what the presidents didn't know :P
So it is apparent from the above truths that the Government doesn't know anything :P Then WHO does?

2) Ufologists Truth
First of all I would like to address the term "UFOlogist"
It is a really stupid term because 'ologist' is usually attached to some scientific study like astrologist, meteorologist, archaeologist, etc.
Now while it is possible to argue that those three I mentioned are not always accurate science :P They are at least REAL topics of study. But UFO in itself means UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT and as such could be anything from a cloud to a garbage back to a weather balloon (and yes an alien spacecraft :P )
But how do you scientifically study something that is unknown? MUFON had this object still recorded in their files as a "UFO over London England" when in reality it was a garbage bag balloon in Albuquerque, NM (yes I have all the data)

Yes you can study reports and group them into categories and eliminate the obvious garbage from the gems... but I have noticed that today's UFO groups have more interest in keeping the STORY going and the SHOW CIRCUIT alive that they don't really care much about screening the crap from the good stuff.

2) Ufologists Truth1) UFOlogists and Whistle blowers are their own worst enemy. They are so intent on keeping their place in the circuit that they literally attack each other... "I am telling the truth... so and so is a liar"
Most Famous is Stanton Friedman, who, by his own biography on his website says he is a failed nuclear scientist who had small part time jobs in the nuclear industry that all failed, so he became a UFOlogist instead to make a living on the lecture tour. He uses his "nuclear scientist" 'status' to claim to be an 'expert' on UFO's yet he has never even seen one... and his career fame is bashing Bob Lazar's story....
I don't intend to make this a list of charlatans :P You get the idea...
2) UFOlogist withhold the evidence
While the government says: "We are not hiding anything" the UFOlogist says; "We have the PROOF, but umm we can't release it yet. Wait till our new book,dvd comes out"
Well oddly enough that info NEVER comes out so UFOlogists are WORSE than the government..

There are literally HUNDREDS of supposed crashed saucers according to the UFOlogists, yet with all that we still have not seen ONE teeny weeny piece of VERIFIABLE alien spacecraft since Roswell... (and we don't have a sample of that either) These craft crash in several countries not just USA.
