Title: Through a Mirror Dumbly: I've figured it all out - Thanks to youtube
Post by: Canine on May 05, 2019, 03:09:05 PM
I, like many of you, thought that selenology and astronomy was best learned from books and men with pipes and beards but youtube has shown me the error of my ways.

After several hours of youtube re-education I have mastered the ability to reveal that our most famous poster is in fact....

...a Moon Base.

Shocking? I know. But bear with me as I convey to you my erudite image analysis work...

If you would look closely at the enhanced portions you can see that the world's most qualified pilot appears to have been a moon base for some time.

I've rotate the cropped portions 270 degrees and applied my own proprietary techniques to reveal what is really occurring on the Learian surface region. Students of the Youtube school of lunar image analysis might recognize some features.

I'm not sure of the date on this photo but it might be pre-Apollo and therefore proof of a secret space program.

I think that Richard Hoagland might be in on the cover-up. There is no way he failed to note the rectilinear features that this humble pilot has.

I wouldn't put Jack Arneson's analysis on the same tier as the Youtube school of lunar image analysis that I'm emulating here.

Jack applied real skills and knowledge to actual image data of known provenance as an intellectual exercise that proved fruitful. He was objective and perspicuous, even the fractal dimension of his images indicate objects that are worth looking at.  Contrast this to  The Youtube school which applies Bunk analysis to literally confabulated images in a process that probably reduces your IQ.

I feel stupider for having done this mere emulation of it.
