Zorgon, site owner of Pegasus and The Livingmoon, has died.

I received word yesterday evening at 8:24 pm edt that Zorgon had went into cardiac arrest and all attempts to revive him failed...

He was my friend and brother for 13 years..
So long my friend, you are loved and greatly missed...

Ron was my trusted friend. He asked me to be his partner and that meant a lot to me as I don't have a lot of friends. We have been through many battles together and he always had my back even when I was stupid and wrong and he will always be in my thoughts.

I knew him since he joined ATS, back in 2005 (I joined ATS one year before), and although we had different opinions about many topics we always saw that for it was, difference of opinions, and our acquaintanceship turned into what I think was a real friendship.

I will miss him. :(

I have known Ron since 2012. He has taught me so much.
He was always very helpful and always available to talk. I am saddened that he has gone way too soon. One of the nicest men I have known.

I always respected his comments and is the reason I joined this forum a way back when.

I saw John Lear post his passing on FB this morning

I dont post here much and I never met Ron but I felt like I knew him personally. I tried to read all his posts. I greatly respected him and his opinions. He seemed like a jack of all trades to me and knew a lot about a lot.

What sad news!!
Followed him from his days on ATS and then to here. We only corresponded a few times but he was always knowledgeable and seemed such a nice guy.

Just saw this and talked to him Tuesday night he said he needed some rest and was getting homecare. Ron was an incredible guy I met him a long while ago on ATS. And as we all know one of the best researchers he will be missed a greatdeal.  Rest In Peace my Friend :'(

   Oh!  Oh no!  I know he may have got a laugh at this, but I must do this for him!   I'm praying that God has a good and trusted place for the Zog!  I believe he does!!!!!  Ron was a good leader and Pegasus friend.   The Zog, (Zorgon the Great) was a great guy and his heart was almost always in the right place.   Not very many humans can truly say that these days.  I miss him already.  I will miss Ron and Bill both, both of whom are gone now and both of whom started Pegasus and recruited me.

I had no idea that this was even a remote possibility.
Ron was a dear friend and will be sorely missed.
I wonder just how long it will be before Zorgon figures out a way to contact us from beyond the veil.  :P
And he would want to see TLM/PRC carry on.

I did not know him as long as some of you but he had my ultimate respect.  My condolences to his family and all of Pegasus.  It will be rough for all the family.  I lost one of my sons on June 2nd, 2019 and I understand.

Can't believe in this, its about a month I was talking to Ron on messenger, and He was so well besides some troubles with his leg. I was even planing with him to pay a visit next year and bring some nice rocks. :'(

He asked me to help him with the forum back in 2011, I knew him at ATS.

Terrible loss for this planet. Very sad day :'(

Totally shocked by this very sad news, I only knew Z a very short time but I was in awe of his knowledge and wisdom on so many topics, the world has lost a true legend of the esoteric.

Irene... thank you! I did see the music you and others posted and I listened to it.  And what everyone has posted here is so nice. It's still just the same people though, makes me sad. He gave us so much and spent so much time and energy on this site I feel like it should be written in the skies that he is gone. I'm just sad is all.
He and I talked often and have for years so I will miss my late night talking buddy. I know all of you will miss him as well. I had such hopes that he would get well.

Wow ... so sad to hear this today  :'(

Ron was a cool guy and an amazing researcher, he was a great inspiration to me.

I never met him in person but communicated with him over the years since the ATS days,

I will miss him very much, may he rest in peace  :(

 RIP Zorgon... I just found out the he has passed. Ron was my go to guy when events of the world got complicated . I could always count on Ron to make sense of it and dispel the rumors. You will be sorely missed by me .   


Well, by now he has had his life review and now truly knows everything for sure .

I'm so sad to hear this news. I have had a feeling in my chest now for 2 days since hearing this. I respected Ron in so many ways. He was like my teacher when I was growing up and he helped me digest information to see the bigger picture. RIP Zorgon. I send you love and luck wherever you are now. RIP friend

The universe has brought our friend back into the fold, and I for one am while greatly saddened, am also eternally blessed for the interactions and lessons I received from my time knowing and learning from Ron.

I know how many of you were much closer than he and I, yet I am deeply saddened at his life ending far sooner than expected as much as you all, and I wish I could hug each and every one of you right now.

Rest in Peace, Ron, your legacy will forever have a place in this world, and you will forever have a place in my heart brother.

ATS is a joke! - They banned Zorgon! I, and expect others; know why. Yet the people leaving condolences are the same ones that launched a vendetta against him. If it wasn't for Z I would still be in the dark about what goes on behind the scenes. Yes I'm angry and riled about Z's death but it makes me mad when I see people jump the fence so many times.

Most of the times, what we see on the public side gives us the wrong idea of what happens in the staff only areas, both here and on ATS, so things are not exactly what they appear to be.

I know many of you would love to pay your respects but understandably can't attend the service. If there are any words you would like to share we will gladly accept letters to be read at the service. I only visit this site a few times a year. Mostly looking at what marvelous posts/tidbits Zorgon posted.
Gotta be honest here, his death hit my like a brick.

I remember him from my days on ATS, this is the person who really took me down the rabit hole.
I saddens me, as I know he had much to share, info he knew he couldn't get online in his lifespan.
Tho he did a great job and used his precious time on earth wisely!

Ron, i'm truly happy you found inner peace. Be well, and know that you had a big impact on people.

I am deeply shocked and saddened   :(   :'(    on logging in today to read of the passing of the Great Zorgon " Ron Schmidt! "

I am utterly surprised to discover that his recent illnesses have ended up taking his life here on Planet  Earth and what seemed to have occurred so sudden.  I had no idea that his issues had been so serious.

I know it is a severe disappointment and shock to all PRC members and all who knew him.

Zorgon will be greatly missed by ALL...and its hard to know what to think from here on.

Pegasus and the Living Moon is his legacy and I am sure that we have all been very greatful to have had the experience to have discovered and known him. He has helped and taught us all with his deep knowledge and experiences.

I hope that he has gone on to the next stage or next Life...that I believe that he often appeared to have faith and belief in..   or that  had managed to discover at least some main things in what he had searched for in the mysteries of  Life  that I think we all have been searching for that was the main point to his forum and teachings..   

If not I hope that he Rest In Peace .   R.I.P   Ron !   you will be greatly misssed ...but always remembered !

Words cannot contain the feelings for having lost my friend Ron Schmidt. I know the family is heartbroken at his passing.
I could go on and tell you what a great guy he was and was the smartest man I have ever known but he would probably laugh at me, telling me to 'stop Mr. Q', 'That's above my paygrade'.....
We have talked and planned on many undertakings together and fought many battles together. He was always, always at my side. He always had my 6.
He asked me,,,,ME to be his partner and that meant a lot to me...he was my friend and I don't have many.
So, with this I'll say my goodbye in a way I know he would understand.

we have all lost a good friend and  our loss should prove how much we do mean to each other

Not a day goes by that I dont remember one lesson or another Ron shared with us all here, and often my decisions are made with his wisdom in mind, not too many people you meet on forums are genuine and honest, and he was the most of both...its also nice to see some old names here back in the forum, coming together because no matter how different our views and ideals are, we always were able to discuss almost every subject with intelligent reasoning and a fair amount of respect for those differences.

Zorgon may be gone from this physical world, but his footprint and impact will never cease to be in the hearts of everyone he interacted with, whether he taught them, or learned from them, he was humble and gave every facet of this reality the utmost in understanding.

Kevin, you and I met around that time and have enjoyed a friendship amongst all this when we were active on this and several other forums, I am glad to see you here sharing your feelings and heartfelt respect for Ron, because he was a big part of bringing us together ...in those times the forum was kicking ass and having great numbers...can it happen again?
