Title: Impeachment....what a waste of time, energy and money.
Post by: micjer on December 18, 2019, 02:08:49 PM
This whole impeachment BS is such a waste of time and effort.

It is all the news is talking about.  With so many other issues that should be taking center stage, the democrats and republicans are going to vote down party lines in the house and the senate, so nothing will change.

Two weeks it will be 2020, election year.  Let the people decide and get back to important issues.

Here is my prediction.  Trump will not be impeached and will make the democrats look bad, and it will help him get reelected.  He has proven that he is above the law being president.

Yes it is, Mic, total bullshit and nothing but a waste of the taxpayer's money

The daemonrats and the media in general are so totally socialist it is pathetic and disgusting; it was refreshing to see Senator Kemp and his fellow senators storm the closed door hearings and raise hell about the way all this crap was being handled

The public opinion polls indicate that the general populace is sick and tired of all this bullshit, ready to put an end to all of it; I hope the daems are squirming since 200+ house seats are up for election this time, need to vote the slime out of office...

The daemonrats are the ones making themselves look bad, revealing what they truly are, and the stench is awful  ::)
I will vote once more for Potus Trump, and against any of those sleazy daemonrats on the ballot

The entire process is not legal. I will vote for Trump again regardless of the vote in the house .

From an outsider's point of view, this looks more like "window dressing" than any thing else, to keep the tension levels inside the US.

US politics reminds me of fixed games, as we already know the end result: nothing will really change, but they have to make it look like there's something people can do.

Talk about keeping tensions high.....

Trump implies that the late Rep. John Dingell is 'looking up' from hell

Comments like this is why so many people are out to get him.

As an onlooker I cannot figure out why he has no compassion.   I have always believed in saying no ill of people that have past on.  Why can he not play nice in the sand box?

no, it's full of daemonrat bullshit; these demontards were talking impeachment in april 2016, before he even won the nomination  ::)

most of the 'silent majority' voted for him because he is outspoken and has something most of the recent presidents have lacked: the man has Balls instead of being an overly sensitive pussy

Most of those asswipes in the House are up for re-election in 2020; time to spread the word and make your vote count; I plan on encouraging everyone to vote against any and all daemonrat candidates such as that old bat Pelosi

A Republican majority might not be the most desirable answer to the gridlock problem, but it would still be an answer.

This reminds me of some political history when I was a child, in the state of Victoria, in Australia.  We had a succession of two Leftist state premiers (John Cain and Joan Kirner, the equivalent of your governors, although there would be different details, I am sure; the local Viceroy, if you want to speak really generally) who did terrible things to the local economy.  The man after them was a conservative; Jeff Kennett.  The public protested against him almost as soon as he entered office, with photos of him with a Hitler moustache, among other things; but the state economy improved with him in office.

The real problem here, more than anything else, is the fact that both sides now, Left and Right, are so completely and unsparingly determined to destroy each other.  There was a time when people were capable of recognising a reciprocal relationship with one's opposition; but no one does that any more.  If you are a member of "the enemy," then that apparently justifies totally annihilating you.
