As some of you may remember, I first found myself online and in UFOlogy and conspiracy circles about 10 years ago, following on from some profound UFO sightings I had at that time. In comparison to some here, and many elsewhere, I'm still blessed with relative youth, just now turning 30.
Young enough to live another lifetime, yet old enough to remember a different way of living, before the digital revolution.
10 years ago I found myself in a rich online community, full of "believers" and "deniers", and I knew which side of the fence I sat on. Fast forward 10 years later and these rich communities don't exist anymore. It seems the older generation of whistle-blowers and armchair researchers are well into their retirement, and there are no younger enthusiasts to replace them.
The American DOD has just decided to disclose that they've been covering up UFO sightings for the last 75 years, and TPTB seem hell bent on some sort of rendition of Blue Beam, and yet the world has barely batted an eyelid. 10 years ago this would have been huge.
I tried checking out some of the British UFO groups, I recently made contact with BUFORA which basically looks defunct from its dilapidated website. Seems to be ran by dinosaurs and they weren't interested in engaging, they are doing the historical organisation an unfortunate disservice ... it's terribly depressing.
I suppose when world events are moving as quick as they have been, nobody even has time for ground breaking new paradigms, unless of course it's the World Economic Forum pushing the Great Reset.
What a crazy and scary time to be alive.
The only thing to fear is fear.
The drop off with such as this forum is mostly due to the rise of instant platforms of communication.
Instant gratification is now almost demanded, with most humans now addicted to having a phone in their hands .
Pleased to see You back here, why have You not been here?

Yes, I've migrated to many of the new platforms myself, unfortunately very few people are utilising them to the best of their ability :-\
Zorgan actually banned me because he deemed me to disruptive, it's his personal platform so I didn't really begrudge him the decision, although I disagreed with it.
He entertained my youthful attitude for years, and was always kind about it.
I learned a lot from Zorgan and many of the members here and I've always appreciated that.
I think I snapped when a few new members joined here, were placed into moderating positions and they were pushing a load crap, in my opinion.. which hasn't changed.
I'm old enough to choose my battles & win my wars these days ;D
In the age of digital fakery I think most people now brush off most sighting videos. Among those that are legitimate, not many sit up and take notice as the public is bombarded on a daily basis of reports of sightings to the point it is much akin to reporting seeing a rare bird. Not many care as it does not affect their daily lives to a degree they need to be more aware of them.
I think there's a lot of misdirection here. With everyone fixated on COVID, it's a great time to throw out some other stuff in the world and see what sticks. Example UFO sights and supposedly governments coining clean on UFO's.
Something is amiss.

I think real UFOlogy has always been a rare thing, few people have been really dedicating their time to study this field in a scientific way.
I suppose being a field with little physical evidence made it the perfect target for scammers, ready to explorer the gullible, so the percentage of fakes as always been relatively high, as it may be a lucrative business.
Today, following the common idea that all things are to be consumed as fast as possible, it looks like UFOlogy is becoming a video only subject, with most common people ignoring cases that do not have a accompanying video.
The few people that are still trying to understand the phenomena are still doing it, but they are more and more drowned by the excess of people that just want to make some money from it.
