Like most people in cities I have nowhere to go, so I don't even bother to think about that.

If rural, stay. If urban, go. The consensus on /r/preppers seems to be outer suburbia as a good place to live. It's a balancing act. On the one hand, you don't want to be so far out that you don't have access to infrastructure, but you also don't want to be so far in that you get caught in a stampede, or are among the people who are in the immediate line of fire of the police.

What to do when the NPCs discover they have no food?
What Petrus suggests.
Thats a great compendium of what to do, I moved to a rural area recently and have two very small towns within 10 miles and one larger one 22 miles away, which is not so populated with anyone but college students and their brainwashers, and rural folks whose livelihood depends on changing their diapers😂
Were hoping we dont have to get to the point of defending against the herd of NPCs when they run out of hot pockets and wifi, but are amply prepared to do so if need be.
As well we have an indoor fish farm and the usual farm folks...chickens ducks and lots of eggs daily lol.
Honey from beeboxes is coming soon and the entire property is getting fenced off in the winter. Solar panels on a mobile trailer will run our well pumps and fishtanks as well as any freezers or appliances, and Im not sure about these composting toilets yet but they seem pretty cool so if we need to use them we have them too now.
Our world situation doesnt inspire much hope, but I for one will always have hope for humanity, even if 90% of it gets exterminated in the first few weeks.
Pesky buggers we are😉easy to kill but hard to eradicate.

ah Kevin you already answered your own question
Quotelemmings / they stick their heads in the sand
most humans prefer to be led so they don't have to think
cell phones (which are a leash) and 'personal' media have made it easy for them to sit and follow someone else in order tofeel like they 'fit'or "belong"
and those who don't feel that they need commit suicide
it's a very sad FACT
my personal rule is question everything and don't take anything personally....
being human i don't always follow that ...... sigh

Megyn Kelly Regrets Getting the COVID Vaccine: 'I Would've Been Fine'
Story by Stacey Sanderson •
3d
The journalist said that she had gotten COVID "many times" in the past, but after receiving the vaccine, she "tested positive for an autoimmune issue" during her annual physical.
"I asked her [rheumatologist], 'Do you think this could have to do with the fact that I got the d--- booster and then got COVID within three weeks?'" Kelly recalled. "And she said, 'Yes.' I wasn't the only one she'd seen with it."

Two primary reasons for this in my country:
1: They hate Trump so their lives become an endless series of misled and negative events and feelings that fries their ability to form cohesive thoughts in the cloud of hate and self loathing they harbor within their noggin. Anything that represents the hate for Trump is immediately adopted as the basis for every decision they make in their sorry lives. Hence the clamoring for as many boosters as they can jam into their spindly little vegan arms.
or
2:Theyre just following orders from that which has taken their self control away.
disclaimer: Often its both.
Good thing is that a great percentage of them do not reproduce, so this shouldnt be a long ride if they stay on task.
Winning?

Is the moon a natural celestial body?
Le
Always intrigued by Luna....
Quote
Unusual Composition Claims: Some argue the moon's composition differs from typical celestial bodies, suggesting it may be unnatural.
Orbital Characteristics: The moon's nearly circular orbit and synchronous rotation are seen as unusual for a natural satellite.
Anomalous Structures: Claims of artificial-looking objects or anomalies on the moon have been made, though they lack scientific backing.
Lack of Natural Satellites: The moon's uniqueness as Earth's only natural satellite raises questions for some about its origin.
Ancient Texts and Legends: References to ancient texts or legends are cited as potential evidence of an unnatural origin, though this is subjective and unproven.
Mostly by the anciend texts and orbital Characteristics...
Quote
Sumerian and Babylonian Texts: Some proponents have referred to ancient Mesopotamian texts, such as the Enuma Elish, which contains creation myths that mention celestial bodies.
Hindu Mythology: Hindu mythology includes stories and cosmological texts that describe the moon and its influence on Earth.
Chinese Records: Chinese historical records and writings have descriptions of lunar phenomena and lunar exploration.
Native American Legends: Some Native American tribes have lunar legends and stories that involve the moon.
Ancient Astronomical Records: Ancient civilizations like the Maya and the Egyptians kept astronomical records that included observations of the moon.
and:
Quote
Synchronous Rotation: The moon's synchronous rotation, where one side always faces Earth, is not uncommon among natural satellites, but it is a specific and unique feature of the Earth-moon system. Many large moons in the solar system also exhibit synchronous rotation with their parent planets.
Earth's Largest Moon: The moon is proportionally larger compared to its host planet (Earth) than most other moons in the solar system. This makes it Earth's largest moon by far. Most moons in the solar system are much smaller in relation to their parent planets.
Orbit Stability: The moon's stable and relatively circular orbit is somewhat unusual, especially considering the complex gravitational interactions that can occur between celestial bodies. The moon's presence and stability have played a significant role in Earth's geological and climatic history.
Low Eccentricity: The moon's low eccentricity, or the closeness of its orbit to a perfect circle, is also somewhat unusual, as some moons have more elongated or eccentric orbits.
I must admit i have a thing or two about phobos monolith and Russian Phobos 2 UFO Photo.

It depends on what the trouble is, as the scenarios are numerous. If you're talking about Brazil turning into a freezer, well, I was thinking the other day about moving far north since I am currently in the far south. Will it make a difference? I don't know, but at least the beaches are outstanding.

I see they didn't mention how many doctors they will have to analyse the videos, as while some things may be obvious, some are not, and what may look like "misinformation" to a layperson may be just a less known but valid information.
What they should have is a big sign when people enter YouTube saying something like:
"Don't be an idiot, if you need professional help in
any topic contact a professional, do not trust YouTube videos".
Quote"Don't be an idiot, if you need professional help in any topic contact a professional, do not trust YouTube videos".
Heh... somedays I feel like they should just say "Try this at home folks!".
