:o ???
ok..first off i need to tell you that i am always looking to the sky
cloud watching..bird watching..etc
and we have a lot of large birds here so i am aware of them as
they fly over
well i was at the dentist and just got into the car to come home when a large shadow flew over
going the same direction i was..
i looked up and nothing...(yes, i was still in the parking lot :) )
i got out of the car and there was nothing in the sky
holy invisibility cloaking, batman
i of course checked all directions and nothing in the sky but high clouds ..
and then do you think i could recall the exact shape..?
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..no i couldn't...just the thought that it was a large bird
so much for my powers of observation today
we have turkey buzzards, turkeys, large hawks and now even eagles
but as far as i know they don't dissappear that fast
the whole thing took about 30 seconds from it going over to
my getting out and then back in the car and heading home
yep today's wierdness...
i think i need to go back to keeping a journal of this stuff
got some hours of mowing to do ....soooooooooo..maybe whatever it was will fly over again
sigh
:(
You have experienced what happens out here in the desert alot. The Indians I ride with call them " Racing Shadows" Sorry no way I can translate the Local name...
You can be out in the desert.... away from EVERYTHING and not have a cloud in the sky.... anywhere .... and suddenly you can actually watch a shadow racing across the desert. Sometimes you can keep track of it for miles......because the visibility from the mountain foothills goes for great distances out into the desert.
Makes a person wonder. Linda
I had a "weirdness" a few years ago. It was shortly before Samhein, my front yard was covered with leaves. I heard a crunching sound and lokked up to see footprints in the leaves, coming toward me, but I couldn't see what was making them. It was daylight, so lousy night vision wasn't the problem. Then there was the night of hearing hoofbeats racing down the cul-de-sac. They faded into nothing. Maybe it was Pegasus and he took flight over the houses?
Shasta
:D
Shasta
there are days i wish i had written it all down
i even have a pic of a phantom cat that lives here..
what can i say..
hugs
otter, I have had that experience myself, having the shadow zoom across in plain site when there is absolutely nothing in the sky. I have even pondered if satellites in low earth orbit could possibly be casting a shadow, but in reality I have my doubts of it...
by all means keep a journal, it does help to jog the memory in this haze of EM we are surrounded by...
