I read it as a biology piece until i reached the four flagella part....Hmmmm
Arms and legs? ill have to see what else pops up with this story, but I have a feeling we may have just found our missing link.

Isn't "1,000 million" a billion...?  How silly to speak of it that way.

Teeheehee!

Good article, it is.  Despite the...odd...choice of number label.

Hello LE

I had heard they were planning to dive on that "submerged formation"....  It will be interesting to see what they find, and what they announce.

Hi Arc!
Well see what they say, as the ratio of findings to announcements will require quite the complicated math formula!;)
Of course they could just tell the truth...yeah riiiight!!

Ive seen a few mockups of what it looks like from a sonar perspective, and everyone says it looks like a crashed ship because of the apparent groove where it landed where it's at, but to me it looks like some sort of cold war device they might have dragged behind a soviet ship, a huge sonar array, or some sort of piece of a drilling platform that broke off and sank. Lotsa possibilities.

I am a believer in USO's, so that would be icing on the cake for me, but there just doesnt seem to be much government involvement in something that is clearly salvageable with decent equipment.

One would think if anybody anywhere in the world's cia's and three letter agencies were taking it seriously, they wouldve pulled that thing up so fast it would leave a whirlpool!

Wait and see....

Cheers,arc!

VENUS:

Planet VENUS visually aligns with Earth and transits the face of the sun .  This wont happen again till year 2117.

Venus will cross the face of the sun on June 5th for Americans, June 6th for Deep Pacific timezone dwellers.

If you can get some welders goggles you may just see the small speck of Venus as it crosses.

If you have a telescope or a pair of binoculars then aiming them at the sun and holding a flat white card about 10 inch/30cm back from the eyepiece lens will hopefully show the disc of the sun and the black dot of Venus on its face as it crosses... DONT LOOK THROUGH THE EYEPIECE!!!.

more info here... http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/OH/transit12.html

cheers

Cool idea, arc, the lens issue has been confounding me.
I have a pair of rose colored didymium lens glasses for lampworking, and Ill be wearing those.
I have prepared a tripod and high end video camera for tuesday night, and as I work at the beach that night, Ill have a front row seat! www.sunsetsatpier60.com
Ill try to figure out how to share the video, and will let you know when it's ready!

Every night we see venus first, and this time we will be waiting for it more than ever!

Cheers, amigo!

I would be more than willing to help out. Do you have an internet email account. What I mean is an email account that you use for stuff like this so your own account is not out on the streets. They are easy to set up and free. I like mail.com. Never had a problem there. Never use your name and try a different password. Maybe lbtlm@science.com then email it to me and where you want it posted. Which thread. deuem@asia.com

With your picture showing on the screen, tap the screen, or hit menu, and when the share button comes up tap that and enter the e-mail of a friend. Hit send and its on the way!
Thats if you have e-mail on your phone of course.

Continuing your Life, But Not as We know It, idea, arc:

I realized recently that  "reality" as I know it is probably not at all the same reality my cat and fish experience. I think they have senses extending into dimensions I don't comprehend.

And, at a link  today, from the fine folks at TheAnomalist.com ,  was this interesting story on The Blue Room and the National Air and Space Intelligence Center.

http://bragalia.homestead.com/blueroom.html

and Linda, note the mention of IPU!

Rose and everybody,

Does that site open up for everybody.

It says its " done" on my end but my screen is blank.
Of course my whiskers are already twitching at the mention of "homestead" in the link.... but I am getting nothing.

If anyone can get through can you post the " mention of IPU?"  Thanks... I will keep trying but apparently I am not going to see it.   Linda

The denials and contradictory replies by the Air Force on the Blue Room matter are egregious. I am reminded of the very similar repeated denials by the Air Force about another super-secret UFO related government entity- the IPU (or Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit.) It took over a decade to obtain any substantive details on IPU. I do not intend to wait that long to find out the ultimate truth about the Blue Room. Like the Blue Room film, in a FOIA reply the Air Force had ultimately claimed that IPU files were destroyed. In an earlier piece on the National Reconnaissance Office, this author related how as a pre-teen I had filed a FOIA on the NRO and received a denial and similar "no records" reply on the existence of the today-acknowledged NRO. These kinds of government excuses and lies about the Blue Room will be met with exposure. The door to this room has been shut for decades. It is now time to swing it wide open and see for ourselves what the privileged few are privy to- the physical evidence of intelligent aliens and their fall to Earth.AS A FORMER BEATLE WROTE: "THINGS THAT WILL CHANGE YOU FOREVER WILL APPEAR FROM WAY OUT OF THE BLUE"

Thanks for pulling out that quote, L'enki.

Linda, L'enki gave you the important part, but you can probably get to the whole thing from the link on www.anomalist.com. It's in today's collection of interesing articles.

Thanks to both of you..... and for Undo too for seeing how beautiful her new leaf can be....

And this piece with its mention of the NRO simply puts me back a couple of years as I watched a tall fellow in a baseball cap flash a badge at some sentries at a relatively large base in the southwest..... They snapped to attention so hard it sort of shocked me...(because in my head he was still the kid I fell in love with when I was just eighteen)....... and I glanced at the pewter colored badge... A globe with a satellite circling it.... and recognized the same logo that Dad used to use in the late fifties... sort of shocked to see it... but I recognized.... the NRO.

My.... that fellow does get around..... and he seems to be able to go anywhere he wants to... usually with an escort....

So do we have someone helping us on the inside?

Rose

Reminds me of the two doc's relating to the early phases of electro-gravity research . One version contained the words ...Twenty-first Century...     the other had    ...21st Century...

The first showed there was no positive result from the tests, (the public access version). The second showed a positive result to the tests, and was an "in-house only" version.

Use of capitol or small letters makes a difference as does separating words with the " - "  or  " ,"  or " : "  character.  ANY change is a "different  paper"
