Yeah, but I would not think first to some evil plot - clearly some do. And that is scary.
Someone once called that simply a case of advanced hyper-vigilance. And it all depends on your own personal experiences..... a kid that has grown up in Iowa and a kid who has grown up in a terrorist infected town think differently.
