Title: Why doctors are more dangerous than guns

This investigation by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, reveals why you are 6200% more likely to be killed by your doctor than by a homicidal shooter. This is based on U.S. government statistics from the Centers for Disease Control, combined with doctor-caused deaths published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

These data show that FDA-approved prescription drugs kill 290 Americans every single day, meaning that for mass shootings to approach that number, you'd have to see a Colorado Batman movie massacre take place EVERY HOUR of every day, 365 days a year.

That's how dangerous doctors and FDA-approved prescription medications really are. Read more at:

But not more than the thousands of homicides that are committed every year with guns, right?

Ridiculous comparison.

No it's not.  Pharmaceuticals are legalized poisons for the most part.  They sicken (requiring more "treatment") and kill.  The homicides in which guns are involved are FAR lower than the 290 deaths a DAY from pharmaceuticals.  We DON'T see 290 gun-related deaths a day.

"Thousands of homicides...every year" is what? 20 a day?  1,000 is 3-4 a day.  How many thousands of homicides a year are there?

You're right, I missed the "a day" part and thought it was per year.

If true, then it's more deaths than those from guns.

It seems it is indeed true.  [shrug]  I watched as They chased symptoms on My mom.  I think that's what killed Her.  First something for the arthritis, then something to stop the bone-loss the first meds were causing, then something to stop the ulcers the second med caused...and on and on.

This is why SWIM (someOne who isn't Me) chooses to endure pain when SWIM cannot get cannabis.  NO pharmies for SWIM.

Polypharmacy is a huge problem for many elderly patients.  They take A for this, then B for the side effects caused by A, and the list goes on.  Docs are limited by insurance companies to brief patient visits.  Pharm reps bring samples of the newest bestest thing ever and push the docs to push the drug.  Some docs don't want to take the time to assess what's really happening.  Just write for pain pills to shut the patient up.  My nephew died that way last year.  It was ruled an accidental overdose, but Joe will never be older than 33.
