Rep. Ralph Hall represents the Fourth Congressional District of Texas, which straddles the Oklahoma and Arkansas borders northeast of Dallas. In more than six decades of public service, he also has been a county judge, a Texas state senator and a Navy pilot during World War II, when he served on an aircraft carrier in the Pacific. In 2004, Mr. Hall switched from the Democratic to the Republican Party, explaining, "I'm not comfortable in the caucus with them running down a president [George W. Bush] that I've known since he was 11." He currently is chairman of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology. You can find out more about the congressman's work at ralphhall.house.gov.

Yep. Ralph is in my Congressional district too! He is a really fine man, for us in the Congress. I haven't always agreed with his opinions, but then, that is not a requirement, for being good at what he has done for us.

He is just a plain guy, that likes people, and wants what is best for all.

howdy neighbor.
i dont like being waved off by people, regardless of how stellar they may shine.hard facts is whats needed.otherwise we are not informed voters.are they so far out on a ledge,we cant relate to our politicians anymore?

Yes, definitely neighbors! IMO, our politicians difficulty in relating, is very much because that is what they are - in the long-term job of being a politician. And to me, that means do just enough to keep the constituents happy, without rocking the boat!

We have hugely significant matters of state, and most of our politician's time is spent on dealing with budgets and taxes. as a start, let's implement the "fair tax", where everyone pays fed taxes, just like state sales taxes get paid, and thus pretty much do away with the IRS. That will free up the government's time to attend to real business.

And then go from there!!!!!!!!!!!!
