Is the Eurozone about to collapse financially? It seems the three billionaires who are relocating their funds think so...what can you say when three ofthe richest men in the world shift their wealth around like chess pieces?
Alex Jones site lays it out pretty clearly....
http://www.infowars.com/jacob-rothschild-john-paulson-and-george-soros-are-all-betting-that-financial-disaster-is-coming/
QuoteBillionaire hedge fund manager John Paulson made somewhere around 20 billion dollars betting against the U.S. housing market during the last financial crisis, and now he has made huge bets that the euro will go down and that the price of gold will go up. And as I wrote about in my last article, George Soros put approximately 130 million more dollars into gold last quarter. So will the euro plummet like a rock? Will the price of gold absolutely soar? Well, if a massive financial disaster does occur both of those two things are likely to happen. The European economy is becoming more unstable with each passing day, and investors all over the globe are looking for safe places to put their money. The mainstream media keeps telling us that everything is going to be okay, but the global elite are sending us a much, much different message by their actions. Certainly Rothschild, Paulson and Soros know about things happening in the financial world that the rest of us don't. The fact that they are all behaving in a consistent manner right now should be alarming for all of us.
Der Speigel thinks so, too....
http://www.spiegel.de/international/business/investors-preparing-for-collapse-of-the-euro-a-849747.html
QuoteAccording to the Der Spiegel article mentioned above, a lot of investors seem to be preparing for such a possibility right now....
Banks, companies and investors are preparing themselves for a collapse of the euro. Cross-border bank lending is falling, asset managers are shunning Europe and money is flowing into German real estate and bonds. The euro remains stable against the dollar because America has debt problems too. But unlike the euro, the dollar's structure isn't in doubt.
The financial world is starting to wake up to the fact that the globe is absolutely drowning in debt and it is not really good to be holding fiat currencies when a debt crisis erupts.
When men like John Paulson and George Soros start pouring huge amounts of money into gold, it is time to start becoming alarmed about the state of the global financial system.
And as far as Market watch can tell, China's in on it, too!
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/think-twice-before-jumping-on-golds-bandwagon-2012-08-17?pagenumber=2
QuoteWithin the gold market, there is unconfirmed speculation that China plans to buy up to at least 5,000 to 6,000 metric tons of gold and that it will start to buy during this year, according to Kevin Kerr, president of Kerr Trading International.
If China buys this much gold, that would exceed annual, global production of gold, he said. "We do not have enough gold for China to buy that much, and it will take China time to purchase this amount of gold."
The rest of this article from Infowars shares a number of worrisome facts and possibilities.
I know some members are in the Eurozone, so i want to say...watch your back friends!
Cheers!

A funny thing about this is that the EU is where the biggest gold reserves are, with almost half of the worlds reserves.
What would be the consequences of gold having an even higher price than today? And why is gold as expensive as it is now (and has been from some time)?
This looks like one of those things, as they tell that they are going to buy or sell something because something else is going to happen, that thing happens because they bought or sold the other something.
(How's that for a confusing sentence? ;D )

Big rich guys buy GOLD
Scare everyone else into buying GOLD
Price of GOLD goes sky rocketing
Rich guys sell GOLD
Rich guys make a killing
price of GOLD plummets
Happened in the 80's :D
Hunts brothers cornered the SILVER market in the 70's
Price of SILVER went up to $45.00 Hunts Brothers
Then plummeted back to $4.00
Zorgon missed the boat :P Still have all my scrap silver and ore
In Dec 2011 GOLD was $1890.00 today its at $1637.09
(http://goldprice.org/NewCharts/gold/images/gold_1_year_o_s_usd.png?0.9477451128677967)

Now back in December marketeers told us China was buying up SILVER and the price of SILVER was going to go to $500.00
But right now both SILVER and GOLD have been in steady decline...
So maybe the rich guys are trying to fix that
Zorgon missed the boat again :P Still have my SILVER and some GOLD scrap...
Zorgon hope the prices go through the roof :P
hehehe, Zorgon speak like robot :P
Keep that scrap, Z, and Ill shake out my shop carpet again...lots of silver in carpet of Littleenki!
Should John open up the mine again? ???

You need a claim here. There is A LOT of gold up there, you just need good equipment and a lease, and they aren't cheap. There are no roads to there either! All by ship or air. Le, you probably scuba yeah? They only dive down 12-20 ft.

Back in Toronto in the 70's a guy bought an old warehouse. He tore up the floors and netted 4.7 million in gold and silver. The warehouse was an old jewelers manufacturing site :D
Another guy.. smart fellow... laid a claim on an old abandoned gold mine in Eureka Ontario. He reprocessed the old mine tailings and netted 43 million
Up near Sudbury there was a highway road cut... a popular mineral collection site. I stopped there myself. One day a prospector was washing a specimen off in the stream near by and slipped on a moss covered stone. That stone was a chunk of gold just lying around . It was also a key to the biggest gold strike in Canada and led to a law suit for ownership (The prospector worked for the mine that claimed it but he had found the owner of the land and made his own deal :P ) all those years not one rock hound found it :D
There is a LOT of gold out there... a LOT
QuoteShould John open up the mine again? ???
John is too old for hard rock mining... even the trip to the mine was brutal on his spine. Beside The Tortoise Takeover made sure he couldn't go back

I kinda liked it..oh well, my hair all turned gray, so I guess these are the changes we go through;)
Cosmo, Im a great free diver, but scuba makes me uncomfortable..and with the big ass sharks around here that we catch, Im swimmin in the pool! Thats a cool show though, and it reminds me of the one where they find sunken old growth logs...cool as well!
Zorgon, that assay lab is cool, and its a shame the tortoises got the best of it, the table looks brand new, as does some of the buidings before demo..what a shame.
Were there any rugs in there?;)
My last rug netted 6.5 ounces of gold dust, but it was hell getting it from all the other nasty things in there...food, dirt, dog hair...but I knew not to ever vacuum it!LOL! The torch firing the impurities out of the pile of dust made the worst smell ever..lasted for weeks! Thanks goodness for that carbon rod! It caught a bunch of crap that day! 8)
If these three guys are wanting to buy up all the gold, and corner the market down the road, I guess there no way to stop them..they have the wherewithal and the backing..have for centuries.
What gives me hope though is that in this day,, we at least can see it coming and prepare the best we can..Im sure Thor's rolling in the survival supplies about now!:D
Cheers!
Dave
Darn Z! That was a sweet setup at the mine there! I think I have gold fever. I am hooked on Alaska Gold Rush and Bearing Sea Gold, even got into Diamond Divers in South Africa! And the Gold Rush guys went down to South America to give it a look see for a mine. I tell ya that those boys up in Alaska on the dredges have the right idea. Especially the guys that use a front loader bucket instead of diving! They get the most gold I think because they are digging up bottom and the divers just get the gold that is not buried very deep. And think of it, if you used a bucket, you would not have to dive.

In one cleanout they got
166 oz. / $283,220
Holy crap...166 oz from a bucket?
(calls bobcat dealer)
Thats amazing, Cosmo..I wonder what else they find in there that they dont even look for?

No, they have a wash plant right on their 80ft river barge. They dig it up and feed the wash plant. That 166oz was from one clean out of the wash plant. That stuff they are digging up sometimes sparkles the whole bucket it is so rich.

You would need a good size ship to haul up the barge and ship everything else in shipping containers. Maybe ship up a small camper trailer to live in. Only do it a few moths out of the year...
It doesn't hurt to fantasize does it? lol
Fantasize.he!! Im hooking up the boat as we speak!:D

That was actually John's plan He didn't really get much digging done. It was more a retreat and place to go if the SHTF He had a concrete building for food storage and the water supply was secure. Far enough away from any easy access to keep all but the hardy away... and those types are usually friendly :D
Gubment fixed that real quick
QuoteYou shaved the beard, Z!
Meh I iz a Cameleon :P Takes about a week to grow a new one...

John got lucky on that Deadline to be out was Dec 31st and at the last minute he got a buyer from Mexico that was looking for equipment for that size of operation. Not easy to find that size equipment these days. So he got an extension and the Mexicans came and hauled all the equipment out... plus many grueling trips we made stripping out everything. The flagpole was the last to go and on the way out, lo and behold, there was a tortoise in the road we had to move... Kinda like a HA HA I WINZ
QuoteWere there any rugs in there?;)
No rugs... no doors no one ever messed with the place in all those years

Well for those still able bodies enough to go digging, a high price on gold makes it more worth the effort :D Gold is everywhere... even in your computer ;) The more its worth, the more its worth the time to scrap
I don't have enough cash to worry about buying any so let the big boys play... But i think its time to consolidate what little I have... just in case
And had I only stockpiled back then :P
What really irks me though is al the We Pay Cash for Gold dealers... 90% are total rip off artists. They will tell you to your face your item is not real gold or silver and offer you peanuts
Its true they have to make a handling fee... fair enough, but they should pay MINIMUM 75% of day's price
If I had cash I would run an ad in the paper :D. My sister sold some rings she had on Ebay and got more than spot price from gold speculators who just wanted the metal
IMO holding gold for SHTF won't help... who carries a scale and file? LOL Better currency to stock is booze cigarrettes and toilet paper :D
LOL! Booze cigarettes and TP...priceless..no really priceless!
Im ready for a prospecting trip when you are, Z...have atvs will travel :D
What Im doing is just coming to grips with the fact that if the shtf, we wont need to worry about it unless were very well prepared..like the gubmint is with their DUMB's.
Even with a farm in the hills, theyll come and force me to give them my veg..so why bother..when the shtf, let the meatsuit go and become one with the higher plane..its our ultimate goal anyways, right?
Besides, I think we will be sharing a glass of that King Louis this new years if I remember correctly...right there in good old LV! Im trying to get the time off!
Cant die yet..bills to pay!
Cheers, and hey Im a chameleon, too...hair grows like a weed!LOL!Cop one day, hippie the next!:D
Dave
Oh yeah, and on that cash for gold scam..they tell you theres too much solder in the chain and they need to take special efforts to extract the gold...BS..just a centrifugla caster and a carbon rod, and everything sticks to the rod which isnt gold or precious. Then separate precious metals and cast ingots..easy as pie!
If Jesus was here, hed flip those tables over and machine gun the purveyors on the spot!...Did Jesus have access to a Tech 9?
Cheers!
Booze n cigarettes will make money, TP ? Can always use leaves or dollar bills.
Matches, flashlights and food are next.
As far as gold comes to play, I doubt if you had stacks of it like Fort Knocks anyone would care. Can't eat it, can't use it.
Gold will go unused for a thousand years. It is worthless when you are in a SHTF senerio.
The best thing to do is to just give it to them, "yea", let them have it all. Then stop buying it. See what happens..
All of these things and the problems that goes with them are a demand issue. You want it, they have it, you pay.
When ever I face this, I just stop and go another way. Think about this.
Deuem
You got it Deuem.
