Yet again, kudo's to the great Zorgon for yet another brilliant thread, that should keep us busy for months ::)
Those of you that can see the film will see how stable this design really is, and i like the EHD experiments 8)
Notice that Naudin uses a negative earth, and positive to the larger electrode (the saucer body) as opposed to the Gravitor, which uses positive earth (or at least on the smaller electrode)
It would be interesting to see if Naudin had actually experimented with both polarities.....
Of course, this is more in the line of a 'turbo lifter' than a real EG craft, but maybe we can learn something from it.
Certainly fun to build, at any rate!
If i remember, it used a system of wire linkages from tiny RC servos to move the 'fins' on the surface, for turning, and the flaps underneath for braking/direction.
If you lower the flaps on one side, the craft will tilt & thus fly, in that direction.
And the damn thing is more or less silent, far better than a helicopter....
