For humans to develop truly "naturally" would require them to not have any influence on one another, and to be able to make all of their own decisions about what and why there lives entail.
Impossible?
Of course, we humans have developed naturally, as it is nature for us to interact and influence one another with our ideas and opinions.
Funny thing though, early on we developed all of our traits from watching animals eat one another and mate with one another, right?
Then through repeated cataclysms, mankind adopted whatever traits he had carried through the disasters into the next generation, and we now are numerous levels of near extinction and subsequent return to glory beyond our natural original Zep-tepi....First-Time.

When I read Your question, I immediately thought of ET and the power "elite" and all the machinations They have set in motion amongst Us.
I think if We were allowed to progress naturally, We would already be living in The Abundance Paradigm.
Humans are, by and large, loving, giving Beings. If this were not so, organizations such as The Red Cross would not be taking advantage of the fact and making money hand over fist. (Something between 70-90% of donations goes to pay administration healthy salaries, bonuses and retirement packages...)
If We were not loving, giving Beings, no One would bother with charity drives; We would not respond.
so, never mind this hypothetical question. i do not find them to be kindly considered here.

Dave, those "some" who mess things up are all motivated by money/power/energy. They do things They would not choose to do if there was no profit in that arena.
This is why I know that Humanity will shine brightly in the abundance paradigm, where energy is free and abundant and there is no power over others nor money to be had for choosing poor behavior.

I do not put all of Us in the "They" category, Amicus. [smile] Most of Us DO resist doing bad things for m/p/e gain. All I am saying is that when We DO choose poor behavior virtually always it is for that m/p/e gain. And those "elite" at the top control control what We may have so as to ensure Their continued power over Us.
I am a natural kind of a beast. :P
