Knowlton charges that this must have been a pre-meditated act, as the person or persons who perpetrated it would "probably need 3/4 ton truck for the water tank and power tools that were involved."

"I suspect the 'link' to this destruction is to nullify my long held claim that the Blackfoot HAD a written language before missionaries arrived, which could force archaeologists to rewrite history," Knowlton's report of the incident states.

"Blackfoot/Cree Blackfoot is the older version of syllabic writing," he said, as we inspected the site.  "This glacial erratic was dropped here about 10,000 years ago.  It's hard to date the writings.  It would have been possible to carbon date the oils in the red ochre."  With the ochre washed away, that could now prove to be impossible.

"This was all red ochre right in here," he said, pointing at one spot washed clear, "and in the red ochre there was syllabic characters, syllabic writing engraved or inscribed in here," gesturing over an area that had been drilled out.

"You can see some of the red ochre here."

There was a moment of happiness when he discovered one small area that had been missed by the destroyer(s).

Referring to some of the darker areas in the stone surface he said "This is from the detergent. They have steam cleaned some of the areas.  Whatever they were using is reacting with the iron, so wherever the iron and the ochre was, it turned black."

"This detergent that they used was specially formulated to obliterate the oils that are within the ochre."

This is just a shocking act, but figured it may be important.

1984:  remove the history that doesn't jibe with the history as You want it believed...

A LOT of that going on.  Eric Dollard can input on THAT!

So no one had any photos of these markings before they were destroyed?

All we have is this sketch of a 'face'?

Not only that, apparently nobody has ever known about the existence of those rock etchings.

I notice a lot of this disinfo is being created to incite hatred. Not that I have a gift for understatement...
