If you go to about the 24 min mark you will hear Bill and the team interview a French guy Max who has insider information about what the area is underwater, especially 6,000 feet underwater.
Ooh, and I do believe I heard him say there was a portal, stargate under there; which makes me right about that Zorg BTW.
