Post by: Amaterasu on October 04, 2012, 03:32:30 AM
I got this from one of My Twitter People:

You know who won the #debate? The guy watching a rerun of "Star Trek" on another channel.

I read PRC/TLM and Twitter.  And email.  And sites of interest.  Did NOT watch/listen to the debates.

Although I am not American, I suspect that at the time the debates were occurring, I was watching the new Judge Dredd film.  I suspect the Judge would be more than capable of winning a debate on virtually any subject. ;)

Well, I am an American, and I will be voting very soon, for the next president of the United States, so I did watch the debate. In my opinion, it was the best debate I have seen this year. Of course, the other debates this year were primary debates.

Romney did very well, and Obama did not do so well. Obama is just out of his league, in a one on one situation, with Romney, and with someone else asking the questions.

I was surprised at how big the results were, favoring Romney as being the better of the two, in this debate. Two more presidential debates to go.

Right now, it is a wait and see situation, as the future of this country does hang in the balance, depending upon the final outcome of this election. I do hope enough Americans do understand that, and get out and vote!!!

I do not understand when anyOne on a site like this cannot see that there is really no difference between these puppets.

If you want to get a clue, see My thread, Who Pulls the Strings?

What's so confusing?

Obama Wins...

"We the peeps..." Lose

Romney Wins...

"We the peeps..." Lose

Simple enough :D

Nobody won and the motorcade tied up traffic for two days.  Beyond the publicized closures.  Maybe big oil won, since we all had to burn more gas to get where we wefe going.  And no, staying home and off the roads wasn't an option for some people.  I had to get from Aurora to Lakewood Wed afternoon to care for a quadriplegic, ventilator dependent patient.  It would have been apprpriate for APD and DPD to provide some warning about the I70 closure.  The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one.

Yep.  I appreciated the way the tagline for the first "Aliens vs. Predator," movie stated it; which pretty much sums up every contemporary political election.

"Whoever wins, we lose." ;)

Sad case, Shasta, they do tie up everything like bullies and thugs! The RNC here was a money losing fiasco for all but a few hotels..the delgates couldnt even get to the beach before midnight to eat and shop!:(

Also, it would be nice if next time there were all the candidates on the podium and the debate was more than 90 minutes...what a joke!

I would have had Bush as the Xenomorph, personally.  I somewhat like the Yautja, (Predators) although they are an exceptionally vicious race.

Blood is Not Enough (http://www.slofslair.co.uk/index.php?page=story&storychapter/id=4s81v1dffga) - Offtopic, perhaps, but a little AvP fanfic from many moons ago.  It's rather good.
