I think the most interesting thing about this video, is the viewcount; just over 98,000. Apparently, more and more people are starting to watch videos like this.

Simply B-S from those who have an axe to grind, against the United States, and its success story. This looks like a propaganda video (the little bit of it I watched) that al-Qaeda would put out, to stream their filth. We are hearing more of this now, in recent years, because the current President has not represented this country well, to the rest of the world. We do try to help the people in most other countries, and that help is often wasted.

If I might field that question? I would feel the same way, but for once I was watching teh news and tehre was some Iraqui woman crying her heart out becuase her house had blown up, killing of messing up the rest of her family. I suddenly realised that that woman was just like anyone else I know, and that that horrible thing had been done to her, IN MY NAME, or at least because I did not join the protests with my tacit approval.
I know that most of my "normal" and "drug free" fellow human beings could (and did) watch the same programme WITHOUT FEELING ANY GUILT AT ALL, or empathy for that woman.
Ameratsu, and other brave souls, like them pesky Jehova's Witnesss people, (and me for that matter, is why I am trying to explain to you) just passionately believe that we are right, that an awful thing has and is being done, and until all the normal and busy productive people look up from the trough for a momenet and notice that in many key and vital areas of human endeavour, THE LUNATICS ARE RUNNING THE ASYLUM! When you finally notice and understand the issues at hand, it suddenly seems really, really important to spread the awareness of how desperately important it is that everyone gets a grip, rejects the obvious follies being foisted upon us daily by the mainstream "opinion shapers" (it's a job title, look it up if you don't believe me!).
When you finally break though the confusion and actually realise what things are really important, and where mainstream society has got things right and where it has lost it's way, and then consider the time critical nature of some of the clear and present dangers that face us all as individuals as nations and as humanity, you tend to want to turn other people on. She knows it will be unpalatable to some people, and is prepared to expose herself to that criticism, precisely because she loves otehr people enough to care. As do many, many other members of this forum.
I don't always like the way some of the things peope write and post either, but I recognise that YOU ARE ALL VERY BRAVE to be particpating here at all. Try not to waste your energies on in-fighting, the real issues are far more interesting to try and solve.

I have been down the rabbit hole, many times believing I had hit bottom, only to discover deeper depths as the false ledge gives way. i am more than aware of what is happening in the world and i chose my focus very carefully to do the most good in combatting the negative..
wallowing in that stuff does not improve anyones situation
it's like all those folks who slow down to see the wreck...
i don't have the time or inclination for that approach
but
that does not mean that i am unaware or perched on some ledge in the hole of destruction .
i do not need to go into what i do on any level to satisfy anyones opinion of me..i know
and i do not fault you for liking the fog of fear thinking that is projected in these vids..
i was merely saying that it does not suit
my path and therfore i choose not to participate in the spreading of it

I watched Alex Jones for a while earlier this year, and although some of his efforts seemed genuine..the real goal of his "movement" bubbled to the surface, as it does with almost all fearmongers, and thats that without fear, he cant make a buck or sell those overpriced water filters he loves to hawk.
Then, I noticed almost parallel with his subject matter on his site..a propenstity for people to start making these videos on youtube which espouse the exact same fear and loathing for our world, which essentially is his viewers parroting him.
What people need to understand is that any form of physical or violent uprising type of revolution isnt going to work..the gubmint's are prepared for that.
Where they have left their guards down, is in defense to those of us who approach the problems of the world in a different and more deep direction.
If we ALL fix ourselves, and share our results with others, it will snowball faster than any campaign of blood and tears.
Mankind healing itself through mutual respect and understanding of our true needs here on this planet..and not allowing anyone to strike fear in our hearts when we know thats how the evil ones feed off of us.
Zorgon, many might mock a faerie world some like to live in, but if we look back into the past of mankind, some of the best times were while living in a world full of wonder and magic..faeries and all..and I still have the desire to live in a renaissance village!;)

I'm honestly starting to find doom porn a form of comedy, Dave; at least some of it. If you really want a good belly laugh at some point, download Michael Ruppert's
Collapse. Ruppert is so blatant and hysterical in his eschatology, that it really is impossible to take him seriously. "Oh God, the oil's going to run out, and we're all going to die!"
Max Igan's Trance-Formation in particular, and some of his other doom porn can be amusing, as well. He's right that Ray Kurzweil is unreservedly, gleefully insane if nothing else; no question whatsoever about that.
Then, of course, there's the old, and most reliable standby of doom porn scenarios; my personal favourite. The Muslims Are Coming. ;)

For me it is a factor in everything I do at home or in public, and that little smile goes a long way sometimes. eh?
As for my referring to 12000 years ago, it was a nod to when nearly everyone existed in this perpetual state of togetherness and collaboration, shown in every megalitihic structure and wonderous work of art on the walls and ceilings of the many sites which like Gobekli Tepe and Sacsuhayman show that in those times, people didnt fear, they joined hands and made progress.
Too bad the universe had other ideas for them..like floods and other terrible disasters...we are just now waking up from the sleep induced by these events.

There is another point that I need to make, in response to this film; and that is, that in reality, it does not demonstrate a genuine American desire for truly institutional change. Zorgon has told me that millions of people would be willing to fight to the death for the preservation of Capitalism; and he's right. I've seen that.
Americans who produce videos like this, are fundamentally suffering from cognitive dissonance. They want the benefits of global empire, but none of the negative consequences.
They want to maintain the rate of consumption which they are used to, a rate which requires that they take the resources of the rest of the planet, as well as their own country; but they still want to maintain their Superman complex in the process.
They want to literally worship the likes of Ayn Rand, Gordon Gekko, and Milton Friedman, with far more zeal and genuine passion than they ever have Jesus Christ, in deed as well as thought and word; but they do not want to confront the inescapable reality, that the ideology proposed by those three figures, and others like them, is entirely antithetical to the continuation of carbon-based life.
More than anything else, they cry out to their government:-
"Please, stop causing us this pain. We do not truly want to overthrow you; we do not really want to have to take personal responsibility or rule ourselves. We will do anything you ask of us, in order to avoid the forced assumption of adulthood and sentience; we will literally crawl over broken glass in order to avoid such.
