Title: UFO sightings in sky over Denver
Post by: stealthyaroura on November 10, 2012, 01:21:25 AM
What are these objects that a man has filmed? they sent a news team out and they court it on camera too?
some say remote control toy but it's way too fast and the shape is just odd.THOUGHTS?

Quite interesting, SA; seems to be moving quite swiftly, and I like the segment where the tv crew sets up and films the same anomaly on their camera.

Now over on Spookz I would just about guarantee a host of posts claiming it was an insect or bird; just waiting to see what kind of bug flies at hyper-sonic speeds... ;D

seeker Shhh that's where i picked up the story ;)
yes it is a change for a news channel to take there own gear and catch a sighting too.
i'm baffled at it though? cant really get a sense of scale.

Disclaimer:-  This is a primarily intuitive opinion.

My gut feeling on this is the following:-

a}  They're ours; as in, human experimental or other craft.  I don't think we're looking at something ET here.
b}  The mention of thrusters to me indicates something which is also not purely electrogravitically based, in terms of the propulsion system, but possibly some sort of hybrid.  This is also the main reason why I doubt these are ET craft.
c}  I doubt that they're Zorgon's critters, unless Zorgon believes that said critters also occur within terrestrial orbit, or that they also use combustion for thrust.

Other 'craft'  Looking at the slow motion tumbling erratic movement and general small size I can guess what type of man made craft :D

Thruster? Or flash of sunlight off a shiny surface? As it tumbles you see more bright flashes of surface

oh yes the Critters inhabit our atmosphere and LEO but you are correct... these are not Zorgon's Critters :D

My best guess at this point is Mylar Balloon dancing in the up currents

Something like this one also in slow motion

Hmmm myler balloon theory maybe is correct but i dont think so. there way too fast moving
and appear at a set time in the day in roughly the same place and they....... i'm stumped :-X

Petrus4 nice reply care to guess on there size? i can't get my head round them? they look cola
can size to me and maybe it is just rubbish blowing about but the "jet" like thrust is interesting.

more people are not seeing them cos there just too dam fast for the human eye.expect more
footage to show if this is a regular event in the area.hope there is some zoom in action.

I think someone is playing around with rockets !! It maybe a company he manufactures model rockets. The fact that we this on film landing a Parachute when engaged can look an awful lot like what we have just seen in the video and when they get way way up in the atmospheres sometimes there are blown all over the place take a look at the following video. and also on those dates can we get the atmospheric winds speeds from somewhere ??

If you look at the following picture of the craft or unknown at the beginning you can see at least 3 or 4 what look strings hanging down looks like a parachute that separated from the rocket which is very common here take a closer look:

Here we go Estes Rockets Denver Colorado.  If you look at the picture I posted above it looks like a rocket that has torn away from the parachute. Heres is the link to Estes :

Link to different types of Rockets they make.

I have a feeling we are just seeing model rockets being tested and nothing more. Just my opinion I was involved in the hobby business for a long time my main expertise in Nitro Methane RC Vehicles!Any of you  Desert Blast guys out there??? Take a look Lazar would be a good one on this !!!

There are Hobby shops all over Denver in my town there is one left.                                            https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=Hobby+Shop+denver+colorado&fb=1&gl=us&hq=Hobby+Shop&hnear=0x876b80aa231f17cf:0x118ef4f8278a36d6,Denver,+CO&ei=rWaeUIDEBqbm0gGriYCIBw&ved=0CLIBELYD (https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=Hobby+Shop+denver+colorado&fb=1&gl=us&hq=Hobby+Shop&hnear=0x876b80aa231f17cf:0x118ef4f8278a36d6,Denver,+CO&ei=rWaeUIDEBqbm0gGriYCIBw&ved=0CLIBELYD)

The location the guy who has been filming these video is at %^ ST. and Clay ST. Denver Colorado. Now do a comparison between this map of that location below
https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS455US455&q=56+st+and+clay+st+Denver+Colorado&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&bpcl=38093640&biw=1280&bih=620&ion=1&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl (https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS455US455&q=56+st+and+clay+st+Denver+Colorado&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&bpcl=38093640&biw=1280&bih=620&ion=1&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl)

And now all the hobby shops in this location they are all around this particular area Im convinced that these are people messing around with Rockets at a Hobby Store know doubt. If you have ever been around the hobby business this is like drugs to these guys.  8)

excellent explanation SHOTINTHEDARK! i like it a lot!
in fact i think that is the most probable cause of the sightings.well done ;)
Do have some gold for your contribution,im impressed, i never would of thought about model rockets!
But then i have never played with them myself as there pretty expensive in the UK and not many shops
around to get them from.

Hey stealthyaroura
Yeah friend I have seen so many different things considered to be alien ships over the years on Youtube and the picture at the very beginning of the news cast I thought I have seen this before. I knew it was either some type of parachute or a balloon that had a basket that fell off.

Think about how light a parachute is also i think it fits and depending on the wind if its broken away from the rocket which it appears to have done they chutes have very little weight but the wind can certainly make them fly across the sky so fast. I have seen it all on Youtube the ones that upset me are the CGI at least we know this was a genuine mystery.  8) 8)

I'm going to have to sit on the fence on this one, guys; I have launched quite a few estes rockets during my time as a teenager way back in the 70's, and yes, they do fly faster than most would expect; I just haven't had any come back to earth with or without a 'chute as fast as those in the OP vid, even in a stiff wind... 8)

Make room on the fence Seeker..Ive flown those Estes rockets hundreds of times as a boy and into my forties..Ive never seen one come down that fast unless it was still under power. Also, Ive never seen a broken away parachute move so fast it wasnt visible to the naked eye.

Need a pillow for ye bum?

Well not just the parachute part of the model rocket but maybe the whole or at least part of the rocket itself? as i looked through esters catalogue and there are some odd shaped ones! very short,I could see one of them flying about in an erratic way.
could be wrong but the explanation does hold up pretty well.

Rocket tied to a Myler Balloon with chute deployed? :P

I have no idea as to the size.  I don't think they're rubbish, though.  Rubbish to me doesn't have either that strongly directed a trajectory, and I've also never seen or heard of rubbish moving that fast.

Like I said, I don't think they're ET; but they are weird.
