It's now less than one month until his group's "ready" date - December 21, 2012, when the long-predicted doomsday event based on the Mayan long-form calendar could arrive.

"I do have some members who believe, come Dec. 21, 2012, all hell is going to break loose," A.B. said.

His survival community is large, with about 65 active members and about 150 when counting spouses, children and other loved ones.

Many great names of history have been very mistakenly put into your latter category, because they disagreed with the more accepted "thought" of the day. Those erroneous assessments pretty much self-corrected, as the historical proofs just labored on! Columbus is an easy for-instance that comes to mind. The prevailing opinions of the times surely had him headed for the padded cells, if and when he might return!. :) But nope, this world turned out not to be flat after all!

You mentioned prayer - There is, according to the faith of many, going to be a time of doomsdays, and the Mayans may have known/believed that too. That Mayan calendar ending on Dec. 21, 2012 certainly does raise cause for many to re-think what is important, and what is not, irrespective of religion.

With all of this supposedly "channeling" going on, surely someone can simply channel back in time, talk with the Mayans, and get the truth about this Dec. 21, 2012 subject.  ;) Anyone that could do that, and return back here in time to "inform the world", would likely be in position to become World Leader, of the "New World Order" - - with food stamps and free energy for everyone !!!  ;)

I know there is some question about what the end of the Mayan calendar means, but on a more broad point, has anyone know of any Mayan thought or position, on anything, that modern man/modern sciences has proven wrong?? I am not a Mayan scholar, but I do not recall ever hearing that they were completely wrong about anything.

I am personally prepared Spiritually for whatever is occasioned on Dec. 21. For sure sky, we will all get to witness that day, and its happenings!! However, it is my guess that if nothing happens, the "preppers" will have reason in their minds, for staying prepared!!

When is this apocalypse due then?

The best thing that could happen is probably not going to happen so these folks who spent all their money on survival crap will have to reassimilate back into society and begin their slow crawl up in the classes towards the goal of being off of food stamps and not needing section 8 until the next predicted cataclysm comes around.

Any shift in our world will occur between the temples as is well known by those who really pay attention to a bit of reality now and then, and within the mind is where our only hope for a new world rests...it certainly hasnt worked in our favor trying to muscle this planet into shape with physical bullying and other means the left brained leaders have used for millenia.

Im hoping for Aquarius to dump some serious water on us from his pitcher, and wash away the idiots you speak of, but I think thats what will continue to allow those who are somewhat, to very clearheaded and well endowed in the logic and thinking departments, to set themselves apart.

Without idiots, how will the rest of us look so smart? LOL!!!!

This doesn't mean that I believe that everyone is going to automatically get Heaven.  Human beings tend to think in terms of binary opposites; either the world ending, or Utopia.  Some people will get nuclear war with Iran and so on, because that is what they either expect or want.  Others will go to fairly mediocre places, which for all practical intents and purposes, are simply a continuation of the current scenario, but which may stay fairly static and "on an even keel," so to speak, but neither exclusively joyous or hellish.

If I could offer some advice to the people on this forum who like to pre-occupy themselves with Fukashima, in particular; do not focus on that event, unless a scenario with world-wide radioactive pollution is something you actually prefer.

The December event is going to work via sympathetic resonance; it's not as simple as what you "wish," for, because you might really wish for something and still not think it is possible.  It is about getting what you expect, and what is consistent with where your headspace is.  So make sure that your mood/attitude/expectations as positive as possible before it happens, because that is what will determine where you go.

Russians Fear Mayan Doomsday, Government Assures World Will Not End

If you're growing increasingly worried the Mayan doomsday is approaching, you're not alone -- and you've likely got a Russian comrade suffering from the same fears.

The New York Times reports the end-of-the-world-anxiety has Russians so tightly in its grip that the Russian government felt the need to address the situation. According to the Times' report, Russia's minister of emergency situations Vladimir Puchkov reassured the country's citizens on Friday he is sure the world will not end in December and that "he had access to methods of monitoring what is occurring on the planet Earth."

Pushkov did admit, however, that "Russians were still vulnerable to blizzards, ice storms, tornadoes, floods, trouble with transportation and food supply, breakdowns in heat, electricity and water supply," the Times added.

Dec. 21, 2012 marks the end of the Mayan calendar, and some doomsday believers predict the world will come to a calamitous end that day.

These fears are based on misinterpretations of the Mayan calendar. On the 21st, the date of the winter solstice, a calendar cycle called the 13th b'ak'tun comes to an end. Although Maya scholars agree that the ancient Maya would not have seen this day as apocalyptic, rumors have spread that a cosmic event may end life on Earth on that day.
Although scientists have tried hard to counter the apocalyptic predictions, thousands of people across Russia are preparing for the worst. According to Russia Today, some have stocked their back rooms and balconies with food, fuel and other supplies, while others have decided to move away from large cities.

The website even reports a Siberian company has decided to seize the moment by selling end-of-the-world-survival kits, which include medication, heart medicine, soap, candles and matches, vodka, a can of fish, a pack of buckwheat, a bottle of vodka, a notepad and pencil, a game of cards and a rope. If it's a flood, I live on a boat and I really do like sea food. Plus I wouldn't have to worry about a fishing license anymore. But I would really miss steak. Lobster without butter would be a real curse though.

"The Living Ones" ("Partitions" of LIFE) have 2 Bodies.

The "Inner", which is the image in the "Flesh" and ages and returns to the ground.

And the "Outer" Image (which does NOT age) is located in what some call "The Heaven of Heavens", is Linked to the "Inner" Image. (the Flesh)

We received "the knowledge of Good and Evil", so the Evil body (Flesh) perishes,

Government promises world won't end on Dec. 21

The U.S. government wrote a helpful blog post on Monday titled, "Scary Rumors About the World Ending in 2012 Are Just Rumors."

The post on USA.gov says NASA scientists have received thousands of letters from people convinced that the world will end on Dec. 21, based on a misunderstanding of the ancient Mayan calendar that's been promulgated in doomsday message boards online. Some people think a giant comet will strike Earth that day, others that we are about to collide with another planet. A NASA scientist said he's received several letters from young people contemplating suicide because they believe the apocalypse is coming.

"The world will not end on December 21, 2012, or any day in 2012," the post says.

NASA released a video earlier this year explaining that the Mayan calendar does not actually predict the end of the world on Dec. 21, and that the myth that the planet "Nibiru" is heading toward Earth is easily disproved because astronomers have detected no such planet. America is not alone in trying to placate nervous doomsayers. The Russian government has made similar assurances to its people that the end of the world is not nigh, and authorities in France are planning to block access to a southern mountain which believers think could serve as a mystical place of refuge on Dec. 21.

Both "The Inner Mind" and "The Outer Mind" are represented or expressed as "Opposite" Ends
in the form of 2 Faces of a "Plane".

When "The Inner Mind" (Absolute Center) "Awakens", and understands...
all the Superstitious nonsense and FEAR falls away, and you become free or Alive !

LIFE is NOT about the "flesh" !

LIFE uses the "Story" (Your experience in or on the Earth, a Program in the form
of  interactive "Stories") to perform a function between the 2 Ends of "The True Mind" !

It's just that the "Flesh" can't, or refuses to understand !

This is meant to be....

But "The Inner Mind" CAN Understand on Awakening !

That is when the "Absolute Cernter" of the Mind Awakens !

The "Flesh" wants to run away and hide, or escape,
while LIFE wants to carry on with what the "flesh"
can't or refuses to understand.

When each "Chapter" is Completed, the "Inner Mind" slowly "Awakens" !

This is a very, very complicated or Involved process, and takes a few thousand years,
in human terms.

The "Flesh" knows nothing at all about this, and Only "The Inner Mind" becomes "Aware"
as it Awakens, just as "The Outer Mind" (Awareness did in the beginning of "The ALL".

Whew... I talked it over with God this morning and he agree's this place is a total mess. Like many an artist, some works start out beautifully, but can sometimes change to something ugly with one wrong stroke of the proverbial brush.

So we discussed whether it would be better to try and fix what is wrong or just turn the canvas over and start anew.

God said to be patient and not to worry, because it will work out just fine and that everything happens for a reason.

So, I guess it's business as usual.
