Title: Earth | Time Lapse View from Space, Fly Over | NASA, ISS
Post by: dreb13 on November 16, 2011, 12:48:30 AM
Breathtaking time lapse video from the International Space Station.  I recommend watching in Full Screen if possible.

QuoteTime lapse sequences of photographs taken by Ron Garan, Satoshi Furukawa
and the crew of expeditions 28 & 29 onboard the International Space Station from
August to October, 2011, who to my knowledge shot these pictures at an altitude
of around 350 km. All credit goes to them. I intend to upload a FullHD-version
presently.

HD, refurbished, smoothed, retimed, denoised, deflickered, cut, etc.
All in all I tried to keep the looks of the material as original as possible,
avoided adjusting the colors and the like, since in my opinion the original
footage itself already has an almost surreal and aestethical visual nature.

Welcome to the forum. :)

Gobsmackingly beautiful.  If that doesn't make you care about this planet then not a lot will.

Welcome to the forum. :)

Thanks, I'm pretty much a lurker who chimes in here and there.  I didn't know about this place until I got a PM elsewhere that was a month old.  Glad to be here.
