Mystery of bloodcurdling sounds coming from swamp on Indian reservation in Oregon.
People living on a remote Indian reservation on Oregon have been waking up in fear to the eerie sounds of roars and screeches coming from a nearby swamp that have raised the specter of a Bigfoot in the area.
The mysterious noises have been emanating at night from a marshy, brush-covered spot on the Umatilla Indian Reservation east of Pendleton.
Local resident Sylvia Minthron told The Oregonian that she has seen grown men's hair stand on end when the high-pitched shrieks pierce the night air.
I live in the area. It has always been a place, it seems, that Bigfoot has been around. Lot's of casts of prints and etc. My experience was many years ago, while 4 of us where getting wood, chainsaws and all that. We stopped for lunch and where visiting, all the sudden a horrible stench just about choked us and then we heard something "large" crashing through the brush not far from us. Needless to say we all pretty much knew what it was, but went ahead and finished our wood gathering, with no more disturbances. :o

sounds like a fox to me....but i would think those living on a native reservation would know what a fox sounded like... ::)
in this area the foxes mate in feb and until we figured out what the horrid sound was we thought bigfoot also..
makes every hair on your body stand at attention..this recording isn't half as real as the real is
