In relation to the recent Boston bombing and the fertilizer company explosion, I was on an "Emmanuel Goldstein" kick earlier today. You may remember this from Orwell's 1984. I searched ATS for threads related to Goldstein and found the one below. I posted to it. My post was something to the effect:
"Who will be the next Goldstein? Anyone and everyone both foreign and domestic. Whatever it takes to further their goals"
No sooner had I posted this comment, the entire thread was 404'ed. I just thought you might like to know. I was able to save screenshots of the two pages that constituted the thread. My comment must have also been deleted. It would have been the last comment on page two, but it looks like it was deleted before the thread was 404'ed.

Can someone tell me how to include photos in posts. How does the(//) BB Code work around here? Does one upload photos somewhere and then insert a url link between the [img] tags? If so, where does one upload the photo's to. Is this the Attachment feature, and if so, how does one use it?
I see You have some size issues... Might recommend breaking that down into segments and posing separately. Can't seem to read what is there.

i use to be a member of one here in texas and maybe there is more to this than meets the eye.
just throwing this out there.does anybody else know of suspicious things happening with volunteer fire companies.
i know things were at the one i was at.

I'm inclined to view Edward Snowden as an Emmanuel Goldstein equivalent, to be honest; as was Julian Assange. He might not be a supposed villain in quite the same sense that Bin Laden was, but although I'm not one of them, a lot of people still regard him as a traitor. He works very well as a means of distraction, either way; and I find it very difficult to believe that he isn't a source of at least some disinformation.
