Looks like elaine has some problems with her forum site. Wonder if GLp is next. I'd like to be the bearer of bad news on that, but, GLP has me banned so I won't bother.
Heres a screen shot I got in the email.

Weird Gigas, PWM Just posted some pictures to share that show that exact same formatting and Icon,. Might be something to do with compromised PC or file reading, strange.

No-one is next and Alien's will Abduct you if they please. You may be shot dead in the process, but all in all you are more likely to find that outcome without our help.

That bill is meaningless. Facebook and co already share your data with "the government" regardless. Have you heard of GCHQ and NSA? ::)
Checking isitdown, GLP is under attack and down more than up.

Just need a redirect script (to PRC) placing on their server and I'd say job done. Not sure how much traffic we can handle but.... :P
Just when the system lord Z got it all patched up.
Something is going on with what is being discussed on these sites.

What here or on GLP?
What is discussed here is determined by what the members post.

Actually there was nothing wrong with PRC... it was an attack on the SRVER globat against their Wordpress blogs that triggered them to change home page url. Had I logged in to the server first to view announcements I would have saved time and headaches :D
Once I did that and changed the redirect links in the forom files all was well
The websites etc automatically convert It seems the forum hover does not auto change ALL pointers.
GLP is always under attack both real and imagined
The 'anonymous' hackers... whether real, wanna be's or government plants using the mask are just constantly stirring the pot. Makes yo wonder why ANYONE supports 'anonymous' with all these attacks against the very sites that support them :P
I say send all hackes off world to work the mines THEN they would have a beef

Our server is much bigger than the one ATS uses and can handle a LOT When Springer first offered to host Livingmoon on ATS because of traffic generated by C2C traffic after a John interview... our server didn't even show stress at the increased traffic.
The onlt issue is that I don't have the tech skills to make full use of all the features and services offered by our host nor the time...
I will post a screen cap in a sec
Here ya go had to remove the id's :D
This is the services on the Globat Control Panel that are available as part of the accuont

There are pages of reports but a full time job just to interpret/use them
Do you trust anyone enough to give them the keys? I see your predicament. How many of the staff here are not secure? ;)
You have alot a power with that Cpanel.
How bout this. That paypal script can be generated for members to sign up with a monthly site subscription. The member will be auto billed to there paypal pal account every month and presto, you got income stream. So say you have 300 people who will sunscribe 1 slim dollar a month. You get roughly 290 dollars minus paypal fees.
If you allow image uploads to your site server, maybe 2 dollar a month subscription service.
One more thingy. You could have a script coded to scrape your stats to a database on your desktop link an exel file. That way all user information is databased and simple queries can be run or reports generated.
Just sayin

Administrators already have access to pretty much everything about forum activity. Pretty much every click by members, admin and mods is logged. I see all. That may be a little bit worrying to one or two members but luckily for you lot I'm nice. :P

That depends on how they deliver the stats. :)
Some stats are already provided with the data grouped in ways that make it easier for people to analyse, like what's the page most people use when they first come to the site and what's the page from where people exit the site (it may be a page that makes people go away or not).
