Thank you, but today is Memorial day, honoring those that served and Died in service to their country...
Thanks indeed, those who have died in service are still in our hearts and always will be, as are those who still serve and face danger every minute...
Sarge and Sky, you are BOTH right!
Much respect on this day for many who left us early throughout the many wars of our long, bloody American history.
We agree to the above.
Greetings from Big Sky country...

Hence the word 'Memorial'.
Technically Sarge is correct, but we appreciate the thoughts and good wishes just the same.
;D ;D ;D
ah sarge
i beg your pardon if you feel i have stepped on your toes..before they have curled up ;)
you are entiredly correct
but
any chance i get to say thank you to a vet i still take it
hubby who is a vietnam vet has given up correcting me...
hugs
As I said, "thank you" and my feelings weren't hurt. Just because I served, I do not feel adequate enough to deserve anything on this special day. A day for very special people! For they gave they're lives in defense of my freedom!
i heard you ...
and
i disagreed on the adequate enough..but those are both feelings :) yours and mine
so
i will respectfully wait to salute ya in nov
;D
but you still have my sincere and grateful thanks for your service
