Back from the oral surgeon and feeling pretty good. Waiting for the meds to wear off. Had three molars on one side and one on the other removed. Docs concerned about excessive bleeding due to my blood thinners. So I'm packed with gauze . And can eat anything except liquid. Lisa told me the knocked me out completely and the first thing I asked for was coffee & a cig. Lol ... Please excuse my post cause I'm still high as a kite and my say something stupid. Thank God for spell check. Lol

Yes, the juice and deadening can work a hardship on us. Get better quick!
FWIW, in the best of times, one of my biggest problems is leaving out/adding a letter that makes a wrong good-word, and spell-check always passes on it, for some reason!! :-[

Thanks guys! The initial meds are wearing off now, not feeling too good. Can't eat for 48 hrs. So I'm on a diet of clear soup, coffee & cigs..(I know, I know Bout the cigs)(only thing keeping me sane).. Lol
Wouldn't trust anything from NAZA! Promotional crap from them is always crappola!

News break! My oral surgeon actually called me at my home at 9:00 pm and wanted to check on me to see if I was ok. Not is secretary nor his nurse, but himself actually..very cool... haven't had that attention from a Doc in a very long time...He's 75 years old and still practicing..Excellent!...There is hope... 8)
what i've read is, smoking or drinking out of a straw, creates a suction in your mouth that can dislodge the clot that forms in the hole where the tooth was pulled out. this results in what is known as "dry socket," which is extremely painful
ive had many teeth pulled.smoked cigs the moment i got outside..us old fogies no all about it.never had a dry socket in my life.not to say it couldnt happen though.yea stay away from straws and thick milkshakes.
