A terrifying read. I post this here because I can't find any blog/pundit/"expert" who grasps what could happen:
The NSA could dominate or rule the entire Federal government. They could control every (computer-based) election. They could wreck anyone's credit or screw up any politician they wish.
My question is - would they ever tire of serving the Elite and overthrow their masters? They could destroy the TBTJ banks and any business in their way.
More than that, if they can develop real AI, what then? Colossus? Skynet?
And one more thing: if Congress isn't in panic over this development, does that tell us that they've already come under NSA control? Is it over already?
Obama was probably briefed on the NSA program (It has been going for over 30yrs -- Probably longer).
He wrote in 'Anti-Government' clauses that prevented the NSA from spying on government personnel (The very people they should be keeping track of!).
Apparently, they have violated that edict and have some juicy 'blackmail' dirt to manipulate the government.
All this isn't restricted to the US, we in Australia have been informed that PRISM has been gathering data on us too (And we are an ally!).
So, i would say that Obama underestimated the evil depths that the NSA would go to, and is now up poop creek like the rest of us.

I have spoken with some NSA agents... they seem like nice people :D They just might support "We the people..."
Starwarp is right this is old news. We have stuff on NSA monitoring that goes back years to when I first started Pegasus and the website... I have all the old ECHELON stations listed some with codenames. We have documents, we even have CARTOONS on it yet no one took it seriously until Snowden came out... Now suddenly everyone is shocked LOL
Even now there is no mention on the web about the OTHER new main NSA facility at Fort Gordon but even Cryptome showed that one in one of their Eyeball series.

i may be wrong but they be meaner than you think.what is the volume and frequency range of the speaker on cellphones and pcs.
they quite possibly kill you when you answer the phone.maybe subliminal low frequency brainwashing.
then their is the comment i made about smart meters over at the godly place.the next day my big tv fried.what if they fried all your electronics in your house that were plugged in .in one day.
most of us would be screwed.a serious financial hit.
then their is the almost automated system of drones .soon the whole system could be automated.from fuel to bombs to the 3d printed drone itself.
a non flexible god computer controlling every aspect of your life.and punishing you.deciding your day of death.not the system i want to live with.maybe a computer decides our president.while turning us into criminals.just to stimulate the economy.maybe the nsa are brainwashed by the computer into believing they are not doing anything wrong.watson may already have control of us all.

But I did have a DIA agent stop by the house to 'chat' with John and I for three days... Seemed like a really nice fellow...
And a week after he left... he called to say "Hey I hope you guys didn't think I was spying on you"
Nah thought never crossed our mind :P
But a few days later my internet access changed... seems I could 'reach out' more ;)
