Title: Active Encouragement of Brainwashed Grunt Syndrome.

US army blocks access to Guardian website to preserve 'network hygiene'

Military admits to filtering reports and content relating to government surveillance programs for thousands of personnel

This is a story of how the US army is apparently actively encouraging ignorance within its' soldiers.  Apparently the government is worried that with people like Edward Snowden around, information about said government's fascist depravity might make it out of lockdown, and out onto the public Internet, which could be very bad for morale.

If there's one thing we must avoid at all costs, it's the troops managing to obtain information which might cause them to question their current role as corporate mercenaries.  Far better to simply allow them to keep the propaganda tape loop from WW2 running inside their heads, which causes them to think that they're "defending freedom," when in fact they are doing exactly the opposite.

For soldiers the "Hear something, say something" campaign really means this:

The government does not want people capable of insurrection becomming empowerd and motivated so we will continue to see more scrubbing of articles, sites etc.
