There's an isolated, forested place in Russia called the M-Triangle where people allegedly come out smarter than when they went in.

So smart, that in one case, a barely-employed, military washout became a cosmonaut after spending only two weeks there.

Mack Maloney, author of "Beyond Area 51," said researchers at the mysterious outpost have recorded the sounds of traffic speeding by them, even though the closest road is almost 40 miles away.

There's an isolated, forested place in Russia called the M-Triangle where people come out smarter than when they went in. So smart, that in one case, a barely-employed, military washout became a cosmonaut after spending only two weeks there.

Researchers there have recorded the sounds of traffic speeding by them, even though the closest road is almost 40 miles away. They've heard choirs singing, watched the stars align in fantastic formations, and have even seen strange letters and symbols written across the sky.

Cell phone use is impossible within the M-Triangle...unless you're standing atop a small piece of ground, dubbed the Call Box. Then you can call anywhere in the world. No surprise the KGB wouldn't let civilians into the area before 1988. This may seem the stuff of science fiction but, assuredly, the M-Triangle is real.
Even though I've written two books about UFOs and done many radio and TV interviews on the topic, I admit that I'm still skeptical about many claims made by the UFO community. I'm pretty sure the Nazis don't have a secret base on the moon. I think it's unlikely that 50,000 aliens live inside a mountain in New Mexico. Nor do I believe NASA has a covert space program and hundreds of secret space soldiers flying around the solar system.

But ...there seems to be good evidence the Navy built a secret base inside the Bermuda Triangle knowing full well all the strange things that go on there. And that Richard Nixon showed Jackie Gleason the remains of a UFO and its deceased crew. And that something almost "heavenly" is happening inside the aforementioned M-Triangle.

What I found while writing Beyond Area 51 opened my eyes to many highly unusual locations around the globe: San Luis Valley, where people see flying men; Ong's Hat, where renegade scientists may have been jumping universes; Rudloe Manor, where Britain probably hides crashed UFOs; Kapustin Yar, a place where aerial dogfights with UFOs seem to be common.

When Hamlet said, "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy", he was right on the money. Even the cream of today's scientific community would be hard-pressed to explain what's going on at these places. There's some comfort in that. While I'm still far away from being a True Believer, it's good to know that we live on a planet that's about more than just Lindsey, Kim, Brad, and Angelina.

Guest blogger Mack Maloney has written many popular Conspiratorium galleries such as "Real Monsters You've Always Feared" and "Your State's Weirdest Unexplained Phenomenon". He is the author of UFOs in Wartime, Beyond Area 51, and the long-running Wingman series. The latest Wingman novella, "Attack on Area 51" was inspired by his research for Beyond Area 51.

M-Triangle secrets expect to be revealed

These days, researchers of the unknown are heading for the M-Triangle, or the Perm Anomalous Zone, from many parts of Russia to attend an annual ufology congress.

According to different estimates, there are about a dozen anomalous zones in several parts of Russia. The M- Triangle in the Perm Region is one of the most mysterious places. It was discovered in the 1980s and covers an area of 70 sq.km. People or cars do not disappear there but watches do stop, and bright glowing and coloured lightning often appear in the sky. Ufologists believe that such phenomena occur in  places  of underground fractures where strong energy is coming up from the depths of the Earth. A fracture is actually a wave duct for electromagnetic energy to come up from the lower layers of the planet. This results in colour, sound and other phenomena, explains Nikolay Subbotin, one of the organizers of the Perm Ufology Conference. However, certain things happen in the M-Triangle that are difficult to explain.

"For example, take the effect of a "frozen sound", as we call it. It happens as follows. You sit near a fire and hear a tractor coming. You wait for it to come into view but it never does and the sound subsides. Some phenomena cause inexplicable fear, when you walk along a path and suddenly get overwhelmed as if the infrasound or some other thing affected your brain. You can come to the same place on purpose the next day and nothing happens. There must be something there, either of the electromagnetic nature or some invisible objects indeed."

All these unusual things are still to be explained. Now well-known Russian aeronaut Valentin Yefremov is watching over the M-Triangle from the air. He will probably be able to reveal the secret of the Perm Anomalous Zone. Everyone who visits this beautiful place says that they want to come back and walk along these paths at least once again.

The M-triangle is a remote area near the Ural mountains, where bright lights have been reported.[1]

Glowing aliens have been reported in the forests of the area.[1]

Located about 600 miles east of Moscow, the M-Triangle might be the best place in all of Russia to see a UFO. Residents of this remote mountainous region count mysterious happenings as part of their daily life: strange lights, unidentified flying machines, encounters with translucent beings, and weird symbols and letters written across the sky. There are even reports that people who visit the M-Triangle develop super-human powers, which may be why the place is under constant surveillance by Russia's intelligence agencies.

For over a hundred years, locals have reported highly strange sightings. It is known that under the Soviet regime, several expeditions were sent to the M-triangle, but exactly for what purpose, and what they found is not widely known.

The citizens of the nearest towns say that the lights in the sky come in many shapes and numbers, sometimes just passing through, but sometimes reportedly they levitate or hover for several minutes, sometimes even hours. Speculation amongst some UFO enthusuasts suggests that perhaps the former presence of uranium in the mineral-rich mountains in the area may be acting as some type of UFO magnet, or perhaps even causing mass hallucinations. One of the strange craft caught here on video in Russia's "M Triangle"

Perm anomalous zone, or Molyobka anomalous zone[1] is a reportedly paranormal region in Perm Krai, Russia. Perm anomalous zone, also called the M-triangle, spans an area of 70 km2 around the village of Molyobka, which is known as center of UFO apparitions.[2] According to several researchers, parts of the Perm anomalous zone have no natural magnetic field.[2]

A wooden statue of an alien, made by local woodcarver Viktor Sazanov and measuring 1.8 m in height, was erected in the zone.[2]

??The mystery unraveled vilui boilers?

For many years, one of the favorites of the wonderful places in Russia was a story about the mysterious iron boilers, located on the banks of the river Vilyuy in Yakutia. Numerous colorfully told that strange boilers emit radiation, are of extraterrestrial origin, and inside one of them and does have an underground passage leading Rail corridors deep into the Earth. Some scholars have argued that these boilers are not other than nuclear reactors previous civilizations of the world. But neither in the early nineties, nor later, was not provided, no authentic photographs of these boilers, but the area where they are allegedly been well studied by ethnographers and local people. That would once and for all dispel the myths surrounding the mysterious Viljui in Yakutia headed an expedition group led by Eugene Troshina, old friend, "the National Geographic Society."

The history of the legend

Beginning in 1994, the press began to report on the mysterious "pot" in the vast spread of the Yakut taiga. The first publication was published in "The Miracles and Adventures" signed Mirninsk researchers Yuri Michael and Alexander Gutenevym. She reported that, in the north-west of Yakutia, in the Upper Viljui, is difficult terrain with traces of some tremendous cataclysm - solid wood thrown out that are about 800 years old. According to the testimony of hunters are scattered strange metal object shaped like a huge inverted pots. The size of these objects is described in about 5-10 meters in diameter. Spherical structures are partially submerged in the ground, but some of them are raised above the surface of the land, which "cuts a nail." Once this information is widely sold on the Internet and in numerous reprints in the media, Eugene Toshinu while one of the founders of the research group "Neman", thought it was some sort of domestic ancient Troy, which is really to discover and explore. Only need to find the helicopter and meter by meter explore a specific area of ??the Yakut taiga. When in 2002 he met Eugene Valentin Efremov - famous explorer, traveled in a jeep almost all Yakutia, he could not resist, and asked him about the mysterious boilers. Talk to him about the pots in the upper Viljui, Eugene Troshin suddenly heard some confirmation from the researcher journal articles. It turned out that he himself first 90 in Vilyuisk from local hunters had heard stories about the existence of the mythical boilers. Living proof, even at second hand turned my opinion of Vilyuiskaya puzzle.

Case history

The authors of the first note, that started it all, also told where to draw the information for the article. It turns out in the nineteenth century, the famous explorer Viljui R. Maack, noted in his travel notes, "In Suntar told me that at the top there is Vilyui River" Algy timirbit "which in Russian -" big pot drowned ", which flows into Vilyuy. Far from its banks, in the woods, is a giant pot, made of copper. Its value is unknown, because the ground is only visible to the edge, but it is growing more trees ... " (1853). "This fact is noted scholar of the ancient cultures of Yakutia ND Arkhipov:" ... The population of the basin Viluy There is a tradition from ancient times to the presence of the upper reaches of the river enormous size bronze boilers - olguev. Tradition that deserves attention, as these prospective areas mythical location boilers dated several rivers with the Yakut name "Olguydah" - "Boiler". Toponyms right spoke of the reality of the existence of mythical boilers. But here it must be emphasized that, in fact, small rivers named "Olguy", that is actually "pot", Yakutia much. According to experts of the Yakut language called "Olguydah" uniquely translates as "boiler there." That is the particle "-dah" confirms a noun in the sense - "Yes, there is." And, as a well-known local No population in the 19th century or earlier boilers were not made, because they do not possess this technology, all metal items they bought from Russian, is very dear to them, and obviously did not scatter along the rivers. Also hard to imagine everyday tasks for which could need pot diameter five - ten meters. remained another hypothesis a simple explanation of the myth - geological. since the area is rich in legends spread unusual geological formations had to be ruled out that part of the assumptions. Conversations with several Moscow geologist Eugene Troshina persuaded that the objects of interest is incomparably less amount than the possible geological formation. You can believe or not to believe the stories of eyewitnesses, but they all spoke of the boilers in size 5-10 m diameter no less!

Predecessors

Mysterious boilers tried to find a number of domestic and foreign expeditions. In the years 1962-63 Geologist V.V.Poroshin tried to find it on the north bank of the river Berende, but found only a strange village hiding from human civilization. In the late 90's an expedition ND Arkhipova, but in the area of ??remote Olguydaha south, more than a hundred kilometers. In August 2000, a representative of the NGO "International Academy of Space esoteric" Mark Milhiker discovered mysterious formation, similar to the plate. In 2006, the Yakut riddle his attention Czech "zagadolog", as he calls himself - Ivan Matskerle. Using a paraglider as intelligence funds, he was hoping for a positive result. However, five days flying team found only two regular round object, which subsequently proved to be a frozen lake. In search was needed a new approach.

So we go there the road

Catching toponymy expected search area, Eugene Troshin drew attention to the fundamental myth of the Yakut people - Olonkho Nyurgun Bootur Swift. Disparate collection of songs, the legend of the Yakut people, who tell of fiery bogatyr - Nyurgun Bootur rising to the sky for the battle with "criminal aliens" - Tong Duurayem. These descriptions prompted researchers to search any physical realities laid the foundation of people's imagination. Communication with the Yakut folklore scholar, teacher Yakutsk University Anatoly Afanasievich Alekseev enriched hypothesis is that the characters are somehow connected to Olonkho toponyms Olgudah River region. Here a map formed such poetic imagery, expressed in the names of rivers like - "Batyr" - "Hero", "Helden" - "Iron House", "Attaradak" - "big fort", "Kyramyt-tois" - "mountain with spear. " However, in assessing the toponyms had to be very careful not to accidentally go the wrong way. Suddenly Eugene helped anniversary of the Tunguska meteorite. Along with the celebration of the anniversary of the scientific community, Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences undertook an expedition to Patom crater. This cyclopean heap of stones, and of regular conical shape, which geologists have discovered in the 60-ies of the Krasnoyarsk taiga. The study of the crater gave reason to believe its origin akin Tunguska explosion. In one version of the formation of the crater Patomskiy was not from hitting the Earth's surface large solid, and from the release of a massive body of her bowels. It is possible that the way it should look like a place out of the plasmoid destructive to the surface. The discussion in the scientific press this hypothesis prompted scientists compared incompatible - plasmoid with the Fire hero - Nyurgun Bootur. It is noteworthy that in 70 years in the Stony Tunguska air, there was another explosion resembling the famous Tunguska. It was called Chulym car, although no body of this car was found. Interestingly, in the day, which coincides with the event, somewhere on the border of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the north of the Yakut Republic hunters saw flying up into the sky fireball. In our opinion, such balls flying out of the depths to initiate epic Olonkho. We decided that we need to test this hypothesis. If the balls fly out of the ground, you'll find this place visually, by rearing or baked rock. Do not rule out that such a place can be connected with the river valley Viluy is supposedly buried the famous "boilers." No wonder, one of the names of the rivers in the area sounds like Ottomoah - that is the "hole in the ground."

Search and find

The basis of the expedition was a small helicopter - virtually the lightest in the world - double the U.S. "Robinson", run by amateur pilot Sergei Ananias. For searching, we have outlined the area associated their names with mythology and legends. Already we have listed the river was the starting point for rascherchivaniya grid search. Grouping areas in the squares, we have methodically fly around them at different heights, so that, without missing parts, inspect the taiga region. So among the green waves of the ocean of the taiga we hoped to discern utluyu boat regular geometric shape. We were lucky on the third day of searches in an area not included in the original plan, near the village Aikhal under the belly of the helicopter on the slopes of the mountain plateau of low rounded hills seemed right. From a distance they looked extremely smooth surface, like sand, poured from a giant bucket. One, two, three ... the top looked like a pile of these are arranged in a certain curved lines. That would confirm that we are not faced with a product of human activity, and not to crumble kurumnikami rocky outcrops, we were down, laying circles over the tops of the hills. Were particularly noticeable near the smooth rounded side and a flat area at their tops. Selecting a flat area for planting, we got out of the helicopter on the slopes of one of these stone dunes. Of course, immediately checked this place for radioactivity. Background pretty surprised, because 6.4 microroentgen very little even for Moscow. So, there is no radioactivity, and on lichens and stunted larch can be seen that these hills for over a century. On circumstantial evidence, our version of the plasmoid ejection Earth confirmed, regarding the slope of stones and visible tilt and shift in the center suggests a different angle, through which the trajectory of the proposed release. By precipitation of the fragments could be expected here a phenomenon like a geyser. With the difference that in this case, who beat up the jet was from the crushed, but the unusual strength, as each slide was a height of 10-15 meters. The similarity of these mounds with Patom crater was evident even in the visual comparison. Only the scale is different, and probably on the order. However, no iron boilers or entrances to underground railways same room we found. However, the existence, sometime in antiquity in these places advanced civilization Eugene Troshin the move does not deny. When they were going to go with the pilot to the west of the village Morkoka where just, according to Alexander Guteneva were strange semicircular stone formation. Travelogues expect to see slides like yesterday "cakes." However, flying up to the area of ??search, first noticed a number of similar peaked barren hills. Who were at a close fly-heap of large boulders about cubic meter size. Landed near a pyramid, and jumping on these stones on the way to the top, with the pilot saw Eugene unlike those hills of yesterday, those were very smooth, and these consisted of hanging piling boulders. Find one small stones was almost impossible. While the size of these heaps the same - 10-15 meters. But most importantly, the researchers saw when they began to fly around the rest of the stone of the mountain. Surprised by their form. Some were just round with a slightly pointed apex, but particularly interesting was one of the hills. More precisely, it would be correct to call the pyramid, so clearly traced her face. In addition, this "pyramid" was clear "shelf" on the left and right of the top. If it had been in Egypt, one would assume that what we brought some ancient temple, who raised it here in the Yakut taiga - a mystery perhaps, that the found stone mountains, can really be a breakthrough in places on the surface of certain vysokoenergetivnyh emissions recorded in Yakut folklore by way of the Molten Giant.

I have heard this information before, and it is quite interesting that the tie's of the A51 we know here in the America's is being compared. I, for one, know of a few strange thing's coming out of the Russian country sides.

The one that stuck out too me reading your provided material was the 'Dyatlov Pass Incident' that took place some years ago, February 2, 1959 too be more precise. And when I had heard of this story, and how the Russian Gubment had apparently 'Kept' back some of the vital and rather unbelievable finding's of these poor College students and their professor, well, lets just say "It beg's too be discussed, and Russia does seem to have some rather 'Strange and Unexplained' incidence's that are cloaked in some very dark association's to either Alien contact or some thing else is living with in the wilderness that we are not aware of. ???

Don't want to side track the OP Sky, so you can check out more on this story here Dyatlov Pass incident (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyatlov_Pass_incident)

Great composition of the topic Sky, as usual, hope we can find out more on the mysteriousness of the Spherical anomalies, has always fascinated me for sure. ;)

With Great Respect,
