Enjoy ;)
This Doco is currently airing in Oz now, so sorry to those of you who may not be able to view the links I provided, but if you wait I am sure it will be aired elsewhere around the globe if it is not already!
This Doco should go Gangbuster's... it's that good. When a non ct board glory scientist say's something along the line's of "I wonder if this is the hole/cave in earth that such and such people's oral tradition state where they come from when they mentioned to me that our people came from a hole in Earth" ... I say AWESOME! ;D
There is also some really amazing linking up with Mega Fauna too in this Doco!
If you are in Ozzie Land and not seen this Doco then tune into ABC 1 at 2125 hr's. EDIT DOH, on a Sunday Night ;)
All the best!
Soma :)
I find it really strange how Christianity is not mentioned in this documentary.
Judging via modern society's thought's and opinions of the last few year's one would be led to think the world started only 2000 odd years ago ?
As strange as it seems ( I know that is strange as god created all) Another story is told in this Doco that shows how sinfull black people really were making up story's for 50000 years :P
Yes it is a great documentary, Soma!
But!, it always bugs me that they never mention the 'white' races that lived in Australia, before the Aborigines came to this great land.
Not only Australia, but New Zealand as well.
There are many remnants (in both Countries) of a pre-Aboriginal culture, that flourished and died out right about the same time the black fella rocked in!
The Moari's admit to 'killing and eating' their predecessors, might be the same fate that destroyed ours :)
