Post by: astr0144 on August 04, 2013, 02:06:59 AM
For some reason I cannot find my original Alex Jones thread when trying to do a search.

So I am starting a 2nd one to add certain videos that I want to keep track on..

I guess I'm glad that I am as old as f^%$ , I can't live in this type of world where big brother knows everything except my thoughts...Time to check out, and I believe
I planned it like this before I re-incarnated...time to go..

It is hard to believe the type of world we now live in..

Don't check out as yet.....As much as all hope seems lost..

We got to hope the A.J and others can wake the masses up and that we all protest & change against this somehow !

Its not over to its over ...trying to keep a positive view on it..

astro, andy

my mom is 91 and i have taken over her favorite saying
'i'm glad i'm as old as i am.."

i hate the lack of privacy but feel it's (privacy)   been an illustion for a long time - it's not new
the on star in the car is disconnected,, no cell phone,,pay cash for as much as possible
very little on line
sigh

but then  the job ibecomes to find a way to recognize joy in each day and to be able to smile
and go on...
no it isn't easy but it's important not to let it win

hugs all around  ;) ;D

I think it was easier to recognize the "joy" in life before onstar, the internet, and the cellphone, amongst many others..But then we wouldn't be having this conversation..Win loose.. who knows..
Hugs back..

I hate to break any bubbles, but Alex's job is to gatekeep.  Tell Us all these truths is a fear-provoking, nut-job way - and stifle any solution.  He has ties to bloodlines and secret societies.

If He was the real deal, He would have let My on His forum to discuss things.

I'm retired from the world.

I watch this reality warp in so many ways I just shake my head in disgust.

Smart this and that is the way of this world now and spying on people is the name of the game.

My Digital internet smart azz TV I bought 6 months ago has several peep cameras I found entirely by accident one afternoon. They are located in the top corners in a blacked out edge. My landline phone was bugged and someone listened in whenever I had a call or made a call. I shut the phone off back in february and the phone carrier customer service girl told me she can't and will not shut the phone off.

I finally told her to shut the F'ing phone off and she still would not. I stopped paying the bill as I had told her I would and they finally sent a notice some months later they was a gonna shut the phone off. I said good when I got that notice.

I absolutely know they can listen to me on my cell. The war criminal president bush visited here in 2003 and a warning went out to people in charge around here to stay off the cellphones, they, the SS, are listening to all calls.

Andolin, Thank you for confirming what you meant...I was concerned that by me posting this that you were literally feeling you had - had enough and was considering the worst ! that would have haunted me..

Yes Sky..we do not need to go along with all of this...and can live life without being totally connected to them...

As long as we have life...even simple things can be enjoyed...we just have to make moments worth while if other things are not looking too good.

Amy...yes its still hard to really weigh up A.J...
Is he telling us all this stuff on behalf of the NWO to put more fear into us or to tell us to become aware...

I would say he certainly has opened up a lot of things that I would never have been aware about...some has been true and happened , some has not..

Gigas...thanks for informing us about your TV and the cameras..
That will make me think twice about getting a new TV..

I don't know if you guys all have smart meters in your homes as yet..
but I am being asked to replace a meter  ( not sure if its both for electric & gas or just one of these) and have been trying to avoid it for weeks...I am not sure if its just a digital meter or a smart one that they want to replace.

Have I any right to refuse having them ? or will they cut me off...
Whats the alternative..?

Candles...open fire !!!

NOW also there are TV ads from the major gas company saying how good the smart meters are.. and trying to promote them.

I just wanted to be reminded exactly what Alex Jones had said about them...and how they monitor all the various appliances within the house once connected to the grid..

If what he says is truth... how severely disturbing..

the digital meter is the smart meter.
everything that uses power has a tell.every apliance uses x amount of power.by knowing what the draw of power is .they can determine what you turn on.if you turn on a light.they onow someone is home.by knowing distances from box.they fan determine what room you are in.if you tv is on then they know you sare watching tv.
these power draws cannot be measured over distance but the meter can because it is close to your house.it stores in memory.what power draws are and time and date they turn on and off.this is then turned into a signal that is sent to the power company along the power lines.kinda like a sideband frequency.the way to defeat it is to have your power routed through a transfomer after it leaves the meter.this is also good for all your home appliances and will make them last longer.it smooths out the sign waves.and makes them uniform rather than spikes and  jagged lines.

the digital meter cant read a smooth signwave.
this can be done by buying one transformer or on the cheap.buying a bunch of small ones.the kind of transformers im talking about.step up the voltage and then step it back down.basically two windings around a steel core.the steel core acts as a smoothing out filter.basically the extra power draw from doing this would be about 1-5% extra i would guess but what is the price of freedom and peace of mind knowing your electronic gizmos are protected from power spikes and brown outs.

Thanks for the update Robo..

So you think its worth having these meters and the privacy issue would not put you off..

No doubt from what you describe they are clever ( Smart )..and can be useful in the way they can monitor appliances..

I assume most people now have them.. and that there is no way of staying with the old system or the Electric / gas power companies will cut us off from the grid if you don't go along..

I was OK with the old system myself..and would prefer to stick with it if possible..

hey guys

just put a piece of scotch tape over the  peep hole and then take a fine line pen and make some dots or a few lines
that will blur the image but not black it out

they will go nuts trying to figure out what's wrone with their reception..lol

then when you watch tv..hold up signs with messages
like

hi guys i know what YOUR spouse is doing
or
hows the image today

i'm sure you'll come up with some better ones

they want to watch..give 'em something to look at

it's my sense of messin with folks..just can't help it

The Smart Meters they are using in OZ use Wireless to send the data back to base. If you happen to be on a junction node (They send the signal from meter to meter) they use your power to transmit all the data costing you a 10% increase in your power bill, just for their convenience. Working at the moment on analysing the signals to see what is contained in them.  8)

i would not allow it if you have a choice.i did not for pay as you go.i dont get a bill.i recharge a card every month.then stick the card in a machine in my house.the machine tells me my power usage and other stuff.i use to use it to see what my power usage was for certain appliances and to estikate my monthly bill.now i have been using it for four years.i know what my bill runs.i keep it unplugged unless im using my card for more credit.then i unplug it.
as for as them watching me.i refer you to my sig.the high level of difficulty in arresting me due to my way of life is why i feel safe.some mountains arent worth climbing and theres not enough profit to justify helicopters or parachutes.kinda like arresting homeless people for vagrancy.lol.

Thanks for your further feedback on the smart meter  Robo..

Apologies if I have missed your prior posts on all your background..

When you refer to your sig...is this your name or image ?
Is RoboMONT ref to Mountain ? IF so would that  in a mobile type home or cabin...or other type of property..

Sky...nice suggestions....good ideas worth considering....
Some sort of tape if one has a good idea where the camera lens is behind the screen should do the trick if one doesn't mind part of the screen being blotted..

Well you can put a piece of tape on the camera but there is still that issue of protecting what's INSIDE the tv...

QuoteAs in turns out, just like smartphones, Smart TVs can be hacked and compromised. On Thursday, at the Black Hat security conference, researchers Aaron Grattafiori and Josh Yavor demonstrated how they found vulnerabilities in different 2012 models of Samsung Smart TVs that allowed them to turn on the camera, take control of social media apps like Facebook or Skype, and access files and basically any app on the set.

See also: How Hackers Can Turn Your Android Into A SpyPhone

"Because the TV only has a single user," Grattafiori explained to Mashable, "any type of compromise into an application or into Smart Hub, which is the operating system — the smarts of the TV — has the same permission as every user, which is, you can do everything and anything."

In other words, the hacker has your remote.

With Smart TVs getting more and more popular, 67 million models were sold in 2012, and that figure is expected to grow to 85 million this year, something like this can be a dangerous issue for many people and households

Do you think there is anyway that they can have a camera working within a TV that could record and work on wifi WITHOUT the TV being plugged into the Electric grid ?

Could Wifi be within the appliance working on a type of  internal power source...I wonder !

That is quite a shook to say the least..

Will certainly have to be extra careful from now on if its in TVs from last 2 years or so....God the more one thinks about this absolutely horrific what they will know about peoples business and personal private life..

On the Lookout: New Hacker Threats

3. When Your TV Watches You. Smart TVs are the latest trend in entertainment - with new models available from Samsung, Sony and LG, plus upcoming models from Apple and Google. However, connecting TVs to the Internet and giving them an operating system, plus features like webcams and mics, also comes with new risks.

Hackers at Black Hat will be showing how to break into smart TVs to spy on users through the webcam, monitor what you're doing, even scam you through a TVshing attack (TV phishing).

What can you do?: Right now this is a low-risk threat, but as more homes add smart TVs to the living room it may be something to plan for. Unplugging the TV when not in use, or covering the camera, are some basic precautions that could help.

South Korean KT Corp blocks internet access for Samsung Smart TVs
By Ryan Heise on February 10, 2012 01:53 am @ryhei 29Comments

Smart TVs were one of the big trends at CES this year, but all those apps and streaming videos can take up quite a bit of bandwith. That's what South Korea's largest broadband provider, KT, is arguing, as it acts quickly to throttle the bandwidth of connected sets. After threatening the move on Thursday, KT has now began blocking their high-speed internet subscribers from using internet services on Samsung smart TVs. KT claimed that high adoption rates of smart TVs could cause network speeds to become 265 times slower, and it urged TV makers to pay for the cost of network use. Not surprisingly, Samsung wasn't interested in subsidizing KT's network, saying in a statement that:

KT's decision goes against the principle of network neutrality, under which consumers can use services without discrimination. Moreover, we need to verify whether smart TVs actually cause excessive data traffic.

KT's actions seem to have attracted the ire of the Korea Communications Commission. The government organization called the actions "inappropriate" and plans to take some sort of action if KT continues blocking access for smart TVs. South Korea's broadband network is largely considered the most developed in the world, but this goes to show that even the fastest and cheapest internet around can't escape net neutrality debates.

Likely is no camera on older model TVs. Ones that have online capability are the ones you will likely see this on. If you want to destroy the camera just put a blob of paint or nail polish etc. over it. Unless you can hack into the TVs operating system BIOS and disable commands to wake up the camera. I do not know if this sort of TV can work without networking as the programs are likely piped through internet vs. coax cable.

Although the last video suggests refusing  to let the power (Electric/Gas ) companies from fitting their evil smart meters...

What they do not tell you is what may happen after that.

IF you want to stay connected to the grid, whats to stop them disconnecting the supply...

Has one any rights...

Can they threaten court law order to enter the premises if say they had to do something within the home or take back their old meters.

Is it a case of protest and contact ones council or get legal advice ?

One needs to know what to do in order to try and avoid any further problems..

Any suggestions welcome !...

I need to try and find out ...if I am to deny them...

During my bad time in 2003 to 2007 falling down streak I had the electric shut off for many months and that's not what bothers me, what bothers me is a guy actuall had to come drive out to my house and purposely break open the meter and shut my power off. Now I pay more for electricity and they have the smart meter on there so no one has to come out to shut me off. They flip a switch right there in the corporate office sanctuary and bang, I'm off the grid. Ya gotta love technology.

Gigas,

Thks for your reply,

So far I have not been put in that unfortunate situation..
but it could happen to any of us..

Did they have to get into your house to get to & break the meter / disconnect or was they able to do it from the outside..

Yes that is no doubt one powerful system that they will have in place if we are not able to put a stop to it..

I wonder who the masterminds are who came up with all this agenda.
or if some Evil ETs suggested and helped with it...you wouldnt think humans could consider such a scheme and have it in place without  many realizing whats going on.

Well now...This is interesting...

Rogue hotspots can steal your Windows Phone's saved Wi-Fi passwords, Microsoft warns

Microsoft is warning users that their Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.8 devices could be easily tricked into revealing login credentials for corporate Wi-Fi access points secured with WPA2 protection. The vulnerability appears to build on a known security weakness in a Microsoft authentication protocol as well as the way Windows Phones connect to WPA2 networks.

How it works
Let's say Bob works for Acme Inc. and you use a Nokia Lumia 920 as his work phone. Every day Bob's phone automatically connects to the company's Wi-Fi network, called ACME1, using WPA2 security.

Whenever Bob's phone sees a Wi-Fi network called ACME1, the handset assumes that this is his work network and attempts to make a connection.

Now, let's say that two blocks down the street there's a café where a lot of ACME employees grab a latte on their lunch breaks. All a hacker would have to do is set-up a wireless router called ACME1 secured with WPA2 and wait for a Windows Phone to connect to the rogue access point.

Once Bob walks in with his Nokia 920 with the Wi-Fi turned on, his phone will try to connect to the bogus ACME1 Wi-Fi network. During the phony authentication process, the hacker will be able to intercept the encrypted domain credentials stored in Bob's phone.

Now, that wouldn't be a problem if Microsoft was using a cryptographic standard known to be resistant to attack, but Windows Phone uses an authentication protocol called PEAP-MS-CHAPv2 (Protected Extensible Authentication Protocol with Microsoft Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol version 2) that packs some key cryptological weaknesses, which are exploited by this vulnerability.

So after the hacker nabs Bob's login credentials, the baddie can simply capitalize on the weak encryption to obtain Bob's credentials and then login to the real ACME1 with the same user privileges as Bob.

No patch incoming
Microsoft says it has no plans for a patch to fix this issue as the problem is the fundamentally weak cryptography used in PEAP-MS-CHAPv2. (On the plus side, Microsoft says it doesn't know of any examples of the weakness being actively used in the wild.)

As a workaround, Microsoft is advising corporate IT departments to require Windows Phone devices to validate a Wi-Fi access point by checking its root certificate before attempting to connect. The other option, Microsoft says, is to turn off your phone's Wi-Fi capabilities. Anyone who needs to learn how to secure their Windows Phone device can find detailed instructions on Microsoft's Website.

http://www.pcworld.com/article/2046025/rogue-hotspots-can-steal-your-windows-phones-saved-wi-fi-passwords-microsoft-warns.html (http://www.pcworld.com/article/2046025/rogue-hotspots-can-steal-your-windows-phones-saved-wi-fi-passwords-microsoft-warns.html)

:P We found a way to fix the security issues with your phone. DON'T USE YOUR PHONE.  ;D

Incidentally this same thing I think would be more prevalent in areas offering free WIFI connections.

they dont have to get in your house to do the meter.the digital meter has a switch that disconnects if you dont pay.if you really piss them off they take the meter out and put insulators on the contacts.or take the meter and replace with clear plastic.in worst case they disconnect at the pole where a fuse on a hinge is mounted.this fuse has fingers that when they get hot from a short .expand letting go of the fuse and it drops on the hinge.thats what the folks with the long yellow stick have to use to flip on the power.that switch is mounted next to the transformer.usually 2000 volts ac.dangerous stuff.

Found this....its a UK website that suggests that you ca refuse to have a smart meter fitted..This differs ( at least for the time being)  from what Alex Jones was saying when he suggested that the Government were making everyone have them..maybe this is in the USA only at present...

Can I refuse a smart meter?

Yes you can, especially now that the official roll-out hasn't even started. Smart meters are not mandatory.

Even once the programme is in full roll-out, the EU directive has a target of 80% penetration for smart meters by 2020. So that leaves 20% who can refuse smart meters or for those installations that are too difficult.

But beware that if your energy company has contacted you to change your energy meter to a smart meter because your current meter needs replacing (ie it's too old), then you should get it replaced as it could be a safety hazard not to.

You can refuse for the new meter to be a smart meter though and ask for a conventional 'dumb' meter instead. The company can't force you to have a smart meter.

A new government code of practice rolled out in July 2013 sets out the minimum standards that energy suppliers have to follow when installing smart meters' into customer's homes.

The code will allow you to make choices on how much data your energy supplier collects from your smart meter; whether your supplier shares details about your energy consumption with other organisations; and whether your supplier can use your meter reads for sales and marketing purposes.

For more information, contact your energy supplier.
