QuoteWikipedia is a silent depository of information, an endless library where no one even dares to cough even though books are being added, subtracted, and edited with fervor at every moment.
But it's silent no more... Listen to Wikipedia, inspired by Listen to Bitcoin and created by Mahmoud Hashemi and Stephen LaPorte, transforms the worldwide editing process into a relaxed global orchestra. A celesta plays whenever an addition is made. A clavichord sounds whenever something is deleted. The higher the pitch, the smaller the edit.

Yo Buddy!
Wondered what had happened to you, as it's been over a year since we last communicated.
How's things in your area of Egypt?

Hi TFW,
I'm currently living in Spain where I plan to settle down permanently (Insha'Allah). Sadly, life in Egypt is not the same anymore, I doubt it will ever be as it was before the revolution... :(

Very cool too listen too Freelancer!
Amazing how many people are on the Wiki at any one given time, I have not personally changed anything in Wiki for some time, but to have this as a musical rendition is quite amazing, very soothing and really remarkable of how fast information is ever changing with in the Wiki pages. Thanks for sharing.
I see from your post to TFW that you were located in Egypt? My Brother in law is a dissident from Qaddafi's regime, was a soldier of Libya, of course he was a soldier lied to by Qaddafi's imaginary war implications, he is currently trying to get back to retrieve his lively hood, only thwarted now by the revolution and the other things happening in that part of the world. Glad too hear you are in a safe haven, welcome back to the forums Freelancer, as I respect Thor for judgement in character, we always like to have our member's too be active and participating with all that is Peggy.
Best to you and yours, and thanks again for the Wiki Orchestra page, very soothing and relaxing.

What is truly amazing is how 'raw data', in this case the editing and creation of wiki documents, that would normally be meaningless to most people (myself included) to suddenly take on a new perspective that actually enhances the work done by it's many editors. In my humble opinion, Wiki now has a voice, a symphony no less of the many who contribute to it's continual existence.
I wish your brother-in-law a safe journey back to finding his home roots once more. These are dark and uncertain times, may the light of truth be his guiding star back home.
