Spotty rain and thunderstorms have been increasing in coverage over the last few days in the Desert Southwest, due to moisture flowing in from the remnants of Tropical Storm Ivo.  Some of that rain has made its way to Las Vegas and has caused widespread flash flooding in parts of the city, especially on the north side.
Radar estimates suggest that more than three inches have fallen in parts of Clarke County.  All of that rain has caused street flooding in the Las Vegas Metro.

Rain will be a possibility for parts of the Desert Southwest for the next couple of days, including Las Vegas.  Areas that are under heavier showers and thunderstorms will be susceptible to flash flooding.
