Title: The Moon Tonight
Post by: Elvis Hendrix on October 19, 2013, 07:58:24 PM
It's a nice moon tonight.
Northeast Englnd looking east from my back door.
It's still and I'd say about  9 degrees.
I see stratos, broken and lonely at about I'd say 6 thousand feet but the moon is so bright, really bright.
The clouds mean nothing to its majesty.
These nights.

and a whole bunch inbetween

about an hour and no real start to the eclipse ..coming in and rechecking the time
and having it right and still no eclipse and me still fumbling around from one setting to another
sigh

i kept 8 shots and tossed the rest

need a new tripod cause this one is from '72 and getting wobbly

and the purple spot is something in the camera.. looks like several lights..
so gotta figure out what is with that..

sooooooooooo very impatient..and i wasn't laughing last night..

elvis .. sorry to mess with you lovely poem

but the cool thing is on my computer sceeen i can get a really good look at that moon
so really ..it's all good
