My grandpa couldn't speak of ww2 without tearing up....

He had fond memorys of his mate's and shenigans... but when push came to shove the tears flowed  :'(

This song is for all VET's regardless of motive, and in this case the song is about Viet War Vet's.

Somamech - I'd not heard that song since probably when it was released, a good 30 years ago.  30 years.   It's like it was a different life.  Certainly a different era.  Thanks for posting.

The last war fought by Portugal (ignoring the colonial wars) was WW I, and nobody from my family (as far as I know) was part of it, but I don't forget this day, which in Portugal is Armistice Day.

As usual, I celebrate (I don't know if that's the most correct word for it) it with music (I love music).
