Yahoo recently made some new changes to its website URLs..
I used to have Yahoo . com my default main page when I go online when in the U.K...
There are /were yahoo pages for various countries around the world that you could click onto...
For the USA.... Yahoo .com was the main page from most countries as far as I know around the World...
But now From the U.K... it is a different URL address..
when you click on www .yahoo.com it takes or directs me to a different link.
http://uk.yahoo.com/?p=us
For the UK yahoo website it used to be www. yahoo.co.uk
now it is http://uk.yahoo.com/
When I want to go to the USA website.... that was www.yahoo.com
I can not seem to see some of the things that I used to be able to see with the new url that it directs me to :
http://uk.yahoo.com/?p=us
I just wondered if any UK members are still able to access the origional USA Yahoo website of just www.yahoo.com
I also wonder what the USA members see and if the USA yahoo website is still shown as www.yahoo.com to them or if they also now get a different URL..if so what is the new URL ?

The last link you posted for Yahoo USA went there for me. I think there is some sales in the works within Yahoo. My Chinese Yahoo email just got sold to a chinese company. I can no longer get into it unless I supply way too much data. Forget that! Maybe momma china is buying Yahoo in the back room. Hey they have all our money and have to do something with it. More and more stories are being blocked on the main site also. If it mentions Ch1na is great it goes through. If it mentions there is a problem, forget clicking in it, Off the net you go.
Greed of the US got us here. I don't know what can get us out. Mark my words, Ch1na is out to buy the web. When a country has more websites than we have people, we are the small fries. When you force drive people away from a good site, it goes under and goes for sale. One at a time they fall and get purchased up.

I am not sure if you are /were in the USA or China..
I think that you mean you clicked on the www.yahoo.com from China and managed to access the USA website in ref to other things that you say.
So when you clicked on yahoo.com and was taken to the USA website.. did it still show the URL as yahoo.com or did any of the wording layout change... such as say you clicked from China when it connected to yahoo.com the URL may change to read something like what I see from the UK...
only instead of it reading as : http://uk.yahoo.com/?p=us
You may get something like http://China.yahoo.com/?p=us
or a shorter word for China... eg say something like Ch
Like the shorter term for United Kingdom is UK
I had some yahoo websites and other yahoo things that since they changed things no longer seem as good.. and I do seem to have lost access to one yahoo email address that for some reason I can no longer seem to log into..
I cant recall where just now, but I seem to recall being warned about Yahoo changes and what to become aware about... but my mind was too distracted with other things to take note at the time..
I think it suggested not to use some of their things..inc email and groups etc..
You may be right about China taking over so much..
I watched a program about London where house prices are so expensive and it said that the Chinese were buying them up like hotcakes and Londoners or UK citizens can no longer afford to live their.
Its the same in the USA in parts and no doubt many places worldwide.
Its so hard to say what is really happening.. and for those other than the Rich it is extremely concerning !
The country seems to being flooded with so many other Nationalities ..
In the 1980s when Thatcher Conservative Gov was in.. she destroyed so many the UK manufacturing companies and this in turn destroyed families futures... House prices soured..Later Many struggled for work and could not afford housing or to raise families.. 20 years later there are missing generations.... and our population dropped..
Now they bring in labour from other countries , many from other European countries..to make up the population and do many of the Jobs other Origional citizens feel they should not be pushed into.. but it may be they have little choice in a few years..
I think this may have happened in the USA.. and its own origional citizens now have concerns... those in power do not seem to look after their own people...
I think Alex Jones theories are correct about what is going on...
Much of the Western business was exported to the Eastern countries where labour was cheaper... and Now things have changed..
In an other 20 years it may reverse again... I think this is what those in power do...

Off the proxie it gives me http://now.taobao.com/ (http://now.taobao.com/) then a sorry note, then some Chinese news. That is #2 Yahoo to go so far.. Taobao is a huge sales website with hundreds of stores to buy from, maybe thousands. It is the China online store. They are very rich also. They are buying websites to drive the money their way.
www.yahoo.com.uk now brings me to a search engine Found uk.yahoo.com
Even your link in the post for www.yahoo.com (http://www.yahoo.com/) brings me to the US Yahoo.
As far as the power reversing. I would think on that. 20 years is too short of a time. All the companies here have 50 year leases and maybe 10 years are up so far. Another 35 to 40 and they will need to change or stay. As long as we buy more stuff not made at home they will drain all of our countries. This is stupid economics at its best.
But if you're the one making the money and now it is ten times more money, do you really think they could care less about you. These are people that have their own Lear Jets. They are not cheap to fly. We are just dog food to them. Never forget it. They could care less about their home land. They own places all over the world and never drive around Detroit nor live there.
If you all want to stop it. Easy! Stop buying anything not made in your own country until the trade levels out or is in your favor.
When some Chinese billionaire offers Z a huge chunk of change for Peggy, you will all have to learn Chinese and put up with never ending ads. Don't believe it. 2 yahoos down!
