I have some pollenators living in the ground.i went to check on them and saw this neat frost ring around their entrance.i think the frost is from their respiration.there are three pictures for perspective .the last one has my size 14 boot for size comparison.

Robo, size 14? I could almost fit both my feet in one shoe. Forget buying shoes here. They would need to be custom made.

All my boots for the last ten years have been china made.they finally figured how to make a shoe that fits americans.chinese mostly have flat feet so their shoes and boots have a right angle at the heel and no arch.then a few years back they realized that american indian blood line has rounded heels and big arches.now i get preety decent boots from them.via walmart : (.
Lately the biggest problem with their boots have been the week laces.but this last pair had better laces.
This is no joke.i walk into walmart.pick up the boot i want.look at the security camera and say .i want this in size fourteen.the next month their is a size fourteen setting there for me.
Yes the ole archless square heeled shoes, wearing a set now. And my wife can't understand why I don't want to walk anywhere. I am in pain after 10 minutes. No support for my mass. Rather go barefoot, but not in your backyard or neither here. the ground is not very clean here. All garbage goes to it so the cleaners have a job.

Agreed.i had a pair of boots like that and i tossed them and walked on asphalt in the summer.about a mile from home.not worth the blisters.my feet bottoms are way tougher than the skin on my ankles.
I thought of killing the hornets nest but i dont go down there much.may be the only pollinators i have.so they get amnesty.
