NO! Not for any reason nor for any amount of money!
And likely would not be there even to take the pic!!
I have worked my way out on something like that here -

The dark horizontal and vertical lines on the front of the building on the left stick out the same width as the picture in the OP and the drop is about 14 ft to the cement.
The main concern is if a strong wind will come along. ;D
QuoteWould You?
Hell yea.... I love to
LIVE, and that means experience everything. 8)
What's the point of experiencing this world, if one needs to be wrapped up in "cotton wool" ? ???
Found in an ancient writing.... "The fearful shall
NOT Enter" ! :o
In my early years I have slept the night in such locations.
These things
MAKE you feel "The Real Self";
LIFE ! :)

Closest I ever got to that was running wires on the catwalk top of the CN Tower in Toronto...1 mile high :o

No, I have vertigo, even climbing to a chair is a problem to me. :(
Yup. 8) Been there, done that. At one time I painted a lot of very tall structures as part of my job...
seeker
??? Well, I look at it this way; if at his age (he looks like a young man) something goes wrong and he falls. He wont be experiencing anything else he could have in this world!!!! ???
To old for that
WhaTheHey
Nope. I am acrophobic at heights where if I fell I would die (if there is no restraint between Me and the fall).
Just looking at that pic churns M'stomach.
I have done this type of job before: Climbing Transmission Towers.

Not anymore! I will leave it up to the younger generation. :)
P.S. Don't watch the video if you have a weak stomach ;D
starwarp2000, this tower climbing video is one of the most awesome I have ever seen. I konw that when we are young, there is an element of fearlessness, but, up nearer the top, that is just looks unbelievably difficult.
Yes, even just watching the video, there is applied stress in climbing with the climber.
Thanks for posting this! I would say, whatever those guys are being paid, it likely is WAY not enough!!
No way
About 30 years ago I fell and had a total of 7 fractures to my l 4 and 5. Now if I get higher than 10 ft on a ladder I freak out :-[
Crazy thing flying does not bother me :o
Bless

I am not young, dumb, and full of stupid any more. I am old, slow, much smarter now. :P
I once jumped off a railroad bridge over Shasta Lake,
when I was young and daredevil minded...lived to talk about it.

Now I think I must have been insane at the moment ;D
Zorgon,
Those look like the Cliffs of Insanity in The Princess Bride!
Would I? Nope :o
They have a tower here lke the CNN one that they roller skate around. When they go fast enough they jump out over the egge and fly in free space. I guess they will do that until the guide ropes break for someone. I have a histroy of breaking everything in China that is meant to support you. Chairs, stools, beds, Planks, ladders, stairs and so on. For me it is more of a quality issue to worry about. So would I trust a rope or even a steel cable here for my life. NO! Would I stand on that cliff wall now, NO, jump off the bridge now, NO! Years ago, all of the above.
Bugger off = No ;D

Years ago, (yes to) all of the above.
we've just had to learn the hard way ..we don't bounce like we used to... ;D :( ???
