Title: The Snow is Burning
Post by: Zenbuoy on January 30, 2014, 06:19:11 PM
I've been wandering where chemtrails might show up next.
So, after days of heavy spraying...it snows.
None of the 'weatherpeople' get it right.

Many videos appear of people burning snow.
IS THIS SNOW?

Craziest snow ive ever seen!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WK-mVAOyLJQ .....(the link I made which is not posting yet)

SO, scientific gentlemen....
have they designed it to MELT in the sun...but not with intense rapid burning?

Is this close to your estimation?

"Someone just wrote: What you're looking at is ice crystals formed around a nucleus of ammonium sulfate."

My suggest that heterogeneous nucleation on ammonium sulfate may be an important pathway for atmospheric ice nucleation and cirrus cloud formation when solid ammonium sulfate aerosol particles are available for ice formation. link

Cloud droplets form on hygroscopic(salt and salt-like, including ammonium sulfate) particles in the atmosphere called cloud condensation nuclei (CCN).link

They're seeding the clouds with ammonium sulfate.

It's possible that it could be aluminum ammonium sulfate(which is 1 aluminum molecule bonded to 2 ammonium sulfate molocules) but someone with more chemistry knowledge than I have would have to test for its presence.

I believe this is the effect of HAARP, or geo-engineering.

IT SMELLED LIKE BURNING PLASTIC.

Onward!

Very interesting.

Snow density varies then so would
snow water equivalent.

(kg/m³)
New snow immediately after falling in calm 50-70
Damp new snow 100-200
Settled snow 200-300

State authorites seeded the clouds in
California early December, and
there was heavy snow afterwards.

With that said, it would be very interesting to
analyze that snow, especially considering the
smell of it.

I also was just thinking about this, if you still
have the ability to make a video again,
take a large amount of snow and put it in
a pot on the stove, and see if there is any water
after all the snow dissapears.

Greetings from the 'Hwy. 166 Wrecking Yard' southwest of Atlanta:

Welcome and GOLD to Zenbuoy...:P...your first!

Just tried to burn the snow in my front yard.

IT CHARS AND DOESN'T MELT!
WTF?

Back to Atlanta...

What a bunch of frigging idiots!     >:(

We went to Atlanta yesterday and assisted GDOT and GHP removing vehicles from the drive lanes of I-75 and Loop 285 West  and finally Hwy. 166 southwest of Atlanta (between Carrolton and Atlanta), where the saving grace was the trees lining the road that kept the 100's (!) of vehicles from going down a very deep canyon....sheet ice at 7PM and 23 degrees.   :P

It looked as though some giant had taken a giant broom and swept the vehicles off the road and into the trees.

Even with 50 years of truck-driving under my belt, it was not the place for the timid or non-professional driver, as I found out a couple of times where even being extremely mindful of the potential dangers, we got loose a few more times than I would like to admit.

And I am driving a 4x4 F-150 Ford with new snow tires and I used to drive a tow truck and snow plow in Denver, Colorado, in the winter.   :P

And got this in on the day before the storm.   :P

Thor, that is odd that it is charring.

( I know your smart enough to know the difference
between carbon from a lighter and charred snow)
Does it also smell?

Can you make a video?

I am jealous now, my snow is all melted.

The title is misleading, I was expecting to see the snow burning, not disappearing. :)

I think trying to melt in on a stove is the best way of doing it, as using a lighter will leave the smell of the burned gas from the lighter.

One question: has anyone tried this before or is this the first time someone tries to melt snow with a lighter?

PS: as I have never seen snow I don't have the slightest idea if this is normal or not. ;D

A little off topic, but have you ever wondered what New York City does with all of their snow?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bX7g6BjmTVk

Anyways I can guarantee the snow we are getting in Southern Ontario is real,  AND LOTS OF IT!

Our county road we live on has been closed for 3 days because of huge drifts and white out conditions.

My tractor's fuel system froze up and the tractor quit.  I had to tow it to a heated shop.  I can testify that the snow on it melted and there was water in it.

It takes 12 inches of snow to make 1 inch of water, so it takes a while for a handful of snow to make much water.

Rain washes the atmosphere and the ground.

Snow does the same so anything toxic will drift down on to the ground from the atmosphere, as a snow flake.

Over, on before its news, a lady showed how burned carbons can attach to snow to safely land in your yard. I would venture to say anything in the atmosphere is brought down including chemtrails and what ever else is up there from fukushima and china, in the jet stream arctic plunge polar vortex.

I am curious now about the "charring"  others have
reported. Hey you scientists here on PRC....can carbon
from a flame attach to snow?

Seems like it would just melt?

If you hold a "Bic"  so the flame is touching you will get carbonization. always hold the flame so that only the heat of it does the job of testing. Never let the flame touch what you are trying to burn, , keep it above the flame.  :)

Greetings:

This is the snow melt in Rabun County 30 January 2014 in a boiling water sanitized glass jar.

Notice the 'globules' in the snow water after slow melting on the wood-fired range with a loose-fitting lid to defray stray particles that might be in the air.

We are now evaporating the water to see what's left, if anything.   :P

I had to show my kids this by taking a clean clear glass, went outside and scooped and packed it full of "clean" snow.  Took it inside and left it on the counter with plasti-wrap over it and let it melt.  They were amazed at all the little specks and particles at the bottom of the glass when it had fully melted.  "Clean" "fresh" snow isn't nearly as clean as you think it is.

(Of course it doesn't help I have a wood burning fireplace I have going nearly all winter and we're in the middle of the woods.  But I didn't tell them that.)

Micjer gives the possible reason we don't see the snow melting with the blow torch.

It is melting, but the snow is absorbing the water as it does.

If the torch had been kept on it , , it would have been a small puddle. He quit too soon.

As for the "plastic" smell?!?! That is still interesting.  :)

https://www.metabunk.org/threads/debunked-fake-snow-burning-snow.3026/

QuoteWhat's happening here is:

A) The snow is melting, but the very loose fluffy structure of the snow wicks away the water, turning dry snow into wet snow, and eventually turning the snow into slush.

B) The snow is blackened when a lighter is held underneath it because of the soot from the lighter (the products of incomplete combustion). It's not burning.

C) The smell is fumes from the lighter

That is odd that it smells like plastic.  Has the snow melted in the backyards, or is it still there?

If you folks that live in this area, feel that there is something to this, then I am not going to argue.

After living in a snowbelt area for over 50 years, I am just adding my two cents.

That snow on the stove not melting is very odd.  My dog just came in from outside with snow stuck to his paws.  It started to melt on the floor within seconds.

GENUINE QUESTION
why do'st it smell like plastic?

Since smell-o-vision has not yet been mastered I have no way to check the reported smell of plastic... However the butane would have a strong odor IF you are condensing the flame on the cold snow ie not allowing the butane to burn fully

Since butane and plastic are both oil products I would suspect that to be the reason

You would not smell it lighting your mega reefer because a) the flame is burning fully and b) any butane fumes would be sucked into the reefer when you suck on it to get it to be burned thus filtering it out and c) the reefer fumes are more than likely over powering the smell of butane :P

While I am 100% certain that they are seeing the atmosphere with chemical, plastic is not one of them.  However considering the sheer amount of air traffic both commercial and military. I would not be surprised to find unburned fuel in both rain and snow.

Is it enough to ignite? I doubt it... but in my day as a kid we only had to worry about the YELLOW snow  :D

Today I wouldn't drink rainwater or melted snow without filtering it  though back as a kid we swam in lakes that had a shimmer of gasoline/oil on the surface from sport motor boats and we survived that :D

It looked pretty too :D

Snowmaking begins with a water supply such as a river or reservoir. Water is pushed up a pipeline on the mountain using very large electric pumps in a pump house. This water is distributed through an intricate series of valves and pipes to any trails that require snowmaking. Many resorts also add a nucleating agent to ensure that as much water as possible freezes and turns into snow. These products are organic or inorganic materials that facilitate the water molecules to form the proper shape to freeze into ice crystals. The products are non-toxic and biodegradable.
