Thought I'd share this with you guys... As.. well, your the only guys I feel I can lol.
I was at work yesterday, my ball grinding 9-5; when between tasks, I began job hunting - alternative job hunting, when I stumbled across a BBC advertisement for Trainee Journalists.
I had already seen this once prior, and after referring to movie- like meme's, dismissed the idea. But no, it popped up again, and so I began the application process..
The questions included (para phrased):
What can you offer us?
Why do you want to?
What are your interests?
Can you provide proof of active interest and literature?
Started off great. Until I hit a block. I can't tell them my *real* interests, I couldn't link them to my various compilations online, I couldn't tell them my *motivation*, and I certainly couldn't say: "To free the world from the satanic elite, and expose the illusion of advertisement and propaganda that enslave the masses" ...
Aha, of course not, its the bloody BBC!
Application - aborted!
Sheesh. I could climb the ladder at my work place right now. If I were willing to swallow elitest indoctrines. I could maybe experience healthy reltionships, and 'regular' social activities if I could quite *The Truth*.
But I can't, it's like an addiction, nothing can come between me and the ultimate goal of truth.... And my herb! ;)
As a side note; I also had to fill in a *mandatory* equality form, on which the *second* question was very strange: "What is your reltionship to Northern Irelend?"
Answers:
Roman Catholic
Protestant
Athiest
Other
What's that all about? The answers above were literally the options.
Was spooky, because most English folk don't have an association.
Obviously the rent boys of Parliament can't let go of that irish boogeyman they created called the IRA and want to know which side of the catholic or protestant side you would like to take. So are you a republican or loyalist, BBC wants to know so they can inventory your position for the rent boys.
In other words, they are classifying you for a category that they may use on you in the future. I would say though, BBC is temping if you can walk there walk and talk the talk.
Indeed. I found it particularily weird as I have strong ties to Northern Ireland, and it is indeed the first time I've been faced with such a question, besides my British Army vetting a few years ago.
I agree in regards to "walking the walk', however I also have a particular dislike towards morally corrupt men and women, exspecially of the sexual kind...
