Quote"The mysteries of the universe are as vast and wide as existence itself. Throughout history, mankind has searched and struggled to find the answers tucked away inside the universe and everything we see around us. As Deep Thought said in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, "I think the problem, to be quite honest with you, is that you've never actually known what the question is."

Word travels pretty fast around here... 8)

QuoteIf neutrinos are traveling faster than light, though, they could theoretically arrive somewhere before they departed, so communication to the past may be a possibility. If we could somehow take advantage of this, you could make your alternate past self wealthy by sending a message encoded in neutrinos to invest heavily, for example, in Google stock at the time the company first went public.
I think this would be highly possible, happening as we speak.
So, what kind of word is traveling really fast?
The Navy tried to capture and record neutrinos off of Hawaii.... the project was called DUMAND..... and it worked pretty well, until fish started eating the sensor tips. Millions of dollars.... they say... wasted.
I am not sure that it all went to waste but sometimes maybe even we from the future.... can't get through to the we of the present. Patience I guess is part of it. Linda Brown
QuoteIf the Higgs boson does exist, we may finally be able to build a complete picture not only of how the universe works, but why its works the way it does. If it does not exist, the entire scientific community must to go back to the drawing board and begin investigating a new description of our physical universe.
I think subquantun kinetics is a better description...
Why is SQK better than relativity?
It takes no element on faith: Einstien's relativity is based on the faith that matter somehow "bends" space-time. Nowhere does He explain (or even try to) HOW or WHY this might be. One just has to take it on faith.
It explains things without the need for "renormalization;" relativity ends in infinities without this mathematical fudge.
It integrates EM with gravity. Einstein Himself died still trying to do so.
And it still predicts things like the lensing of light, the apparent time dilation, and all other predictions of relativity, plus more - all of which are testable (string theory is 100% untestable).
In fact, many of the mysteries of Einsteinian mathematics are predicted in SQK. Even "faster than light" travel is predicted...
The Five big Mysteries?
1. The Higgs boson
Doesn't exist. Just like the menagerie of other particles. This is what you get when you destroy Electricity: Resonances/Quantisation of Energy/Molecularisation.
Because the destruction of Electricity is Quantised, all manner of Resonances occur in the process, therefore all the Particle Theories are nothing but Multiple of this Quanta.
2. Gravity and the mysterious graviton
Oh the follies of Newton! The question he should have asked is not 'why the apple falls' but 'how did it get up the tree in the first place?'
Einstein made it even worse! Gravity warps Space/Time. But he didn't explain what Space/Time is and he didn't explain how Gravity warps it. If both of these assume that Space is empty (The basis of both their theories) how does empty Space act on anything?
3. Dark matter
Another waffle from the Big Bang Theory! Although there is a form of Dark Matter and Dark Energy it has nothing to do with Black Holes, Expansion of the Universe, or Missing Mass!
4. Faster-than-light travel
The Dielectric Field!
5. How will it all end?
Belongs in the Philosophy Section ;D But if you have to make a conjecture, maybe it doesn't!
See! That wasn't too hard was it????

I doesn't. To explain this there has to be other dimensions in operation. Call it extra-dimensional if you like. :)
