Big belly bees.  That's encouraging.   8)

Wow, how bee autiful!

I wonder how they do manage to gather pollen
during the cold winter!

Today I observed dozens, if not hundreds
of bumblebees buzzing our maple tree,
they were at the buds. Of course,
I was elated to see this!

Thanks for the pics!

Do you also harvest some of the honey?

bts
yeas we have extracted honey when we had hives before.. it's the part i like..well and getting all the plants pollenated..lol
hopefully when this hive swarms hubby can catch them for a second hive...they are very active

robo...do you have any bee keepers near you ?..or maybe an ad in one of those free papers where folk buy and sell stuff...put 'wanted' in big letters...
our free paper has a wanted section just for that purpose
i've gotten a lot of free stuff that way.. folks just want rid of things
good luck
but how great the bees made it..

;D  yeah   bees...   ;D
